Established in 2004 by Jill Marie Worstell, the firm has continued to build on its reputation for representing civil matters with skill, efficiency, and professionalism.
Jill Marie Worstell-Benjamin is the sole owner of The Worstell Law Firm, where she primarily focuses her law practice on representing clients in family law, divorce, estate planning, and business litigation matters in both Missouri and Kansas. She is the managing and supervising attorney at the firm.
Alexandra successfully balances multiple roles within The Worstell Law Firm; including managing several business aspects of the firm, new client intake, providing assistance to the responsible attorneys in drafting of initial pleadings, meeting with clients to draft and complete parenting plans, and working directly with clients to ensure that their questions are answered promptly and appropriately.
She primarily focuses her law practice on representing clients in family law and divorce matters in Missouri. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kirstin graduated from University of Colorado-Colorado Springs with honors and received the Outstanding Undergraduate Award. Soon after graduation, she moved to Topeka, Kansas to attend Washburn University School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate.
Samuel Taggart Blissett is an Associate Attorney at the Worstell Law Firm. Primarily focusing on divorce, paternity, and child custody matters, Samuel is ready to assist you with any of your family law needs. Samuel graduated from the University of Kansas City School of Law in 2018, earning his Juris Doctorate with honors in public service.

Please do not waste your time or money on hiring Jill Worstell. The other parties lawyer ran circles around Jill at trial it was embarrassing for me, her client. The majority of good reviews on this law firm are made by Jill Worstell-Benjamin’s personal friends that she will call and ask to leave her good reviews to try and shadow out the bad ones. I know this to be true from someone (a mutual friend) she asked to do so. I mean go ahead and scroll down and see a review from Chris Benjamin, that’s her husband...She’s a joke. Please don’t waste your time, money or heartache on hiring Jill

I can not say thank you enough to Samuel Blissett and the team at The Worstell Law Firm. Sam as well as the rest of the team have been nothing but kind and professional. Through my whole experience Sam was so great about keeping me informed, making sure I understood my process. If you want an experienced lawyer that's on your side and will not back down until you get what is deserved to you, then Jill and her staff are the people for you. They are very professional and was always available when I needed them. The office itself is super clean and classy. I would give them 10 stars if I could, but ill settle for the 5 I'm allowed.

I was so impressed after our first meeting with everything she said and how she said she was going to defend me. Shortly after I made my first payment I started to realize how things were different. I wasted so much money using Jill. I paid for a deposition that she never used during the trial, even though there were many lies the other side stated in the deposition. There were many other things that she never brought up in court that would of changed the outcome. She didn't finish her cross on the counter part of this case. Jill Worstell & The Worstell Law Firm are the worst lawyer/firm you could ever hire to help with a family law case. We hired Jill Worstell to represent us through a custody modification. She talked a big game throughout the whole process, which was all just a show. She was terrible at submitting items to the courts on time. She also double booked herself on our trial date. She insisted on doing a deposition, which we paid thousands for. Many lies from the other party came out in the deposition and she addressed NONE of them in trial. She gave poor legal advice throughout the whole process. All
