Ken Rash founded his namesake casual furnishings business in Memphis in 1970. His daughter, Lawrie, followed in his footsteps and started working in the store at the eager age of 14. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 1984 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design, and then garnered experience at a design firm in west Florida, designing interiors of yachts and homes and also doing commercial work.
In 1991, Lawrie's father provided her with the exciting opportunity to open a store in Little Rock. And since it opened in 1992, the Little Rock location has built a strong reputation for honesty and integrity, while providing a vast selection of unique, quality furnishings. Lawrie has showcased both her store and her talent by participating in every Symphony Designer House and Build for the Cure Idea House since the store opened.

Fine outdoor fabrics are designed to endure years of sun, soil and moisture. Wash outdoor cushions with a solution of mild detergent and water and thoroughly rinse with clear water. Stand cushions on end and allow to air dry completely. Light stains can be removed as above. Mildew and heavy stains can be removed with a quality commercial outdoor furniture cleaner and protectant.
It depends on the area whether poolside or covered porch. Poolside would be chaise lounges, umbrellas, and a casual dining set. Covered porch we recommend pieces that create a "living room atmosphere" which includes cushioned seating and accents pieces in order to create a conversation area. It's no longer matching everything.

My experience at Ken Rash furniture was extraordinary.
I walked in the door to a huge open , clean , well organized space filled with what was obviously top of the line, well made furniture.
Several employees were there to offer assistance. I needed help with trying to coordinate some deck furniture with a Firepit that was gifted to me. Turns out, the entire staff is not only educated in design but also artistic in their ability to pull things together to suit my needs.
The staff was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable of their products.
I highly recommend this place, as i was very pleased
