Home Renovations and Additions: Nashawtuc Architects strives to design additions and renovations that are responsive to the needs of the client and that respect their house, their site and their neighborhood. Our thoughtful planning allows repurposing of underutilized areas which minimizes the amount of additional space required.
The first step in our process is an Initial Consultation. It is your opportunity to meet with an Architect and discuss your project in detail. We listen to your goals and also visually evaluate your building and the site. Together we rough out design opportunities, evaluate the feasibility of your goals with the budget, and discuss the next steps.

We engaged Nashawtuc Architects to design our new house. Unfortunately it was not a good experience and we ended up firing them. Their work was substandard, lacking imagination and creativity. Any interesting ideas were ones that we provided. We had to continually ask about a timeline and to prod them forward with their work. Otherwise, nothing happened. They did not ask us about a budget, and eventually provided us with a draft plan and rough budget that was more than two times what we had available to spend. In addition, their monthly bills lacked details and were just buckets of hours, the amounts

I used Nashawtuc Architects to do a major renovation of my house, which houses my family of 4. They did an excellent job. They understand how people live and can work with whatever constraints or variables that come up. They are excellent designers.

This is the company that was featured on This Old House for the Concord project back in 2003. They did a wonderful job taking this old barn and turning it into a gorgeous stand-alone home for the owners' parents. It really was a work of art.
I've been lucky enough to see some other locations where this company has been the ones behind the renovation, and all I can think of is "class". They have a lot of class when it comes to architectural design. They really know their stuff. If you're looking to remodel your home, you'll be happy with the designs from this place
