Our techs are trained by Apple guidelines for any iPhone repair and are supplied with Apple parts to ensure a quality repair.

I purchased an iPad in 2012 and decided to begin a journey to become totally Apple by the end of 2015. My experience with the Mac Ranch was very beneficial along that journey. I have now purchased two Macs from these great folks, another iPad and Apple TV. Just recently I also bought an iPhone which they do not sell. I have felt fully supported and never had the sense that they were just trying to sell me something. They fixed my computer! I was locked into a login loop and couldn't get into my homepage. Their initial workup in the office didn't work, but they kept it overnight and it was functioning the next day. I ended up having to re-download Microsoft Office and other software afterwards, which was unexpected. Expensive, but I can't function professionally or personally without my computer so if it was a $100+ so be it. Friendly staff.

I can't say enough good things about this business ! Always very helpful with our home and business computers. Dave goes out of his way to accommodate us, and is very knowlegeable and patient with those of us that are not as computer savvy! I highly recommend this business, they will come to your home or business if needed, and they also have a beautiful store downtown. It's no wonder that they are voted Best of Durango year after year!

My 10 year old mac book pro was not loading photos from my iphone. In a matter of less than 15 minutes Kevin had the mac book loading pictures as it did before. Very professional and knowledgeable. The charge was very reasonable. I also had the speakers of my mac book replaced a few weeks earlier and they work perfectly and also for a very reasonable price (both labor and parts). I will be using the Mac Ranch for anything else that pops up. Nice to know there are professionals willing to make things work.

We drive up from Aztec, NM about 45 min and left an older IPhone to be worked on. They said it would be quick and ready to go the next day. We could not get back up there until a week later and they had not even looked at it.
I tried to call before driving back up but no answer on several occasions. And they never called with any updates.
Oh sure they apologized said it would only take 5 min then came back out and said 20 min and it was 15 mins from 5:00 when they close. Hummmmm so we left and came back and they said the mother board was fried.
I am going to take it to the Mac store in Albuquerque

I cannot overstate the great care that they gave to my grandparents in their greatest time of need. My grandpa was only able to really sit at his desk and play at his computer... meaning that he would call them constantly for "technical issues" and they ensured that he had everything he needed and showed true care and compassion. Recently they took great care of me as I traded in a computer and used that to purchase some new AirPods... which ended up having a defect. They promptly replaced them. If you need anything Mac related... try them first.

I thought I would have to replace my 2011 MacBook Pro and the Mac Ranch was able to upgrade my computer and get it operating brand new (including the Windows system). Saved me hundreds of $. My work computer which I purchased from Mac Ranch Crashed today.
I have always dealt with the owners and been satisfied. Today I dealt with the service advisor who has been a "computer service advisor for 10 years".
Apparently he still hasn't learned anything about CUSTOMER service -
He showed no empathy for my somewhat desperate computer situation. I asked what might cause the screen to be covered in numbers and text and his smug response was, "I dunno"...
I had to leave town in the morning and I wouldn't be able to leave my laptop because I wouldn't be back for 10 days.

I'm really glad to find a good Mac repair center. These folks were incredibly polite to me on the phone, went out of their way to track down a warranty repair that Apple hasn't been very forthcoming about, and then do the work. They even held on to my laptop and case for me while I was away for a couple of weeks, until I could return and pick them up. Super nice, respectful, and professional every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Customer Service.
I have an OLD ipod shuffle. The little 2''x2'' square ones. I've had it for 8 years and cannot believe it still works and I haven't lost it. I recently found that I could no longer plug a jack into the aux port which rendered it useless unless it was plugged in directly via USB to a computer. I thought maybe there was just something lodged in it, and I could dig it out. I couldn't. So while running errands I thought I'd stop in to the Mac Ranch, our local apple experts, and see whats up. Three minutes later they had dug out some paper and lint and it worked fine, at no charge

The Mc Ranch is great! Today I had something go wrong with my mac and the charging cord. I got to the Ranch just as they opened and they figured it out immediately. I was worried it might be something that would be expensive and keep my mac out of service for a few days. But no, it was an easy fix-the knowledge the gentleman that helped me had as to what to consider was awesome. And they didn't even charge me. The store has always been very helpful. I recommend them for anything to do with a MAC!

Very impressed with this shop. My phone refused to turn on for the last 4 days. Did all the basic checks on it and could get it going. Went in to Mac ranch and was met with very friend staff who opened the doors early for me no less. They took my phone and said come back in 40. I did so and phone works perfectly. Local shop that was extremely supportive and nice. Any time I'm here I will support their business !

Since they bought the other mac stores in town to run some kind of monopoly in town you don't have any choice but to go here.
That's business I understand, it only bothers me bacause apparently while learning oh so much about computers they didn't learn a single thing about being a decent human.
My mother had to go there with some computer issue. They were sort of pleasent but completely passive ignoring her and talking over her like she was stupid. Making her feel stupid like it was their job.
Let me just pause again to say this was MY MOTHER obviously their elder and A LADY

These people saved my bacon!
I walked in with an iPhone that would not contact my network which made it almost useless.
The guys behind the counter solved my problem in about one minute by resetting the network settings.
Who knew the network settings would get screwed up but their fix solved my problem and I will be eternally grateful.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful people! Needed my MacBook Pro to be completely restored and updated to the High Sierra operating system after having too much trouble trying to do the restore/install on my own. I dropped it off and they had it ready to be picked up within the hour. They were completely honest with me about expectations and offered suggestions about how I could improve my overall experience with the computer itself. They even helped me with the initial setup after the restore, and with an adobe photoshop install that was giving me trouble. I will only be doing business with them

These folks are the best. My MacBook Air is five-years old and I'm not the most tech savvy person out there. They cleaned things up, installed Ad Blocker, Malware removal - all good. OS Upgrade. Well Done Service.
My high end Apple computer was going black screen randomly, but often enough that I could not work. Dave Sessions figured out it was the IC board driving the screen backlight. Apple's diagnosis software could not even find this. Great job. I am back at work. I recommend everyone go to these guys and gals.

Absolutely amazing place! Bill is so helpful and takes his time with you. My desktop was having some temperamental issues, and he took the time to help me out. My desktop is becoming ancient in computer years, and I'm trying to make it last for a few more, thanks to Bill and his crew it is possible. Fantastic service! I work from home about 3 hours from Durango and was in dire need of finding out why my MBP was running incredibly slow after an OS Sierra upgrade. On a recent trip to Durango, my work laptop died. I brought it into Mac Ranch and they were great! They diagnosed the issue, got the part and had it up and running within 27 hours. I live in Durango and (incorrectly) assumed that any Mac repair shop in town would follow the Durango status quo, and leave me wanting in terms of customer service and quality. I was way off-base. I got immediate, friendly service as soon as I arrived. The technician was very knowledgeable and honest about the repair situation and timeframe (she even guessed the issue correctly before running a diagnostic). She called me several times, as promised, to update me along the way. Clear lines of communication the entire time, no pressure to engage in any extra repairs/up-sells

I liked dealing with this company. They took care of me as soon as I came in, did a fast diagnostic on my not-working iMac. Compared to other repair options their price for the hardware is a little more, but not wildly so.
I needed a printed quote for insurance purposes and they sent that to me.
I'll finish the rating after they do the repair and I see how it goes. . . . And it went great. They finished in less than a day, charged what they said they would and even put in some extra ram I had at no extra charge.

We were on a road trip in Southwest Colorado when my car charger died. Being without my phone was not an option, so I did a Google search of merchants who carried Apple products in Durango. Luckily, I came across the Mac Ranch. The gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable and so helpful. He gave me many helpful tips and sold me a new charger that really solved my problem. I would recommend this store to anyone who uses Mac products.
