Discovery Point has a varied schedule of child centered and teacher directed activities giving a balance of freedom and structure to your child's day.
Play based environments increase the child's motivation to learn and try new things, build creativity, confidence, and a love for school. Kids get to learn about a wide variety of subjects in an age-appropriate way. We strive to ensure that all children in our program enter kindergarten with a basic understanding of school structure, social competence, foundational concepts, happy and ready to learn!

Services
Discovery Point offers an afternoon session of preschool with a balance of child and teacher directed activities. The environment consists of hands on exploration and socialization! Children can participate in an all day preschool, as activities will not be repeated in the afternoon.
The afternoon time will also have an increased amount of individual time with your child's teacher working on specific school readiness skills that the teachers and staff see children need assistance with.Children can also participate in an afternoon only session at Discovery Point.

Ms. Shanna offers private tutoring through Discovery Point for school age children. As academic standards and testing requirements increase in our elementary schools more and more children find themselves frustrated. Ms. Shanna creates a fun space to make reading and other academic subjects fun and meaningful.
