They responded right away and we’re so kind. My son and I were stuck late at night with a flat tire. The dispatch was extremely helpful she got Robert out there right away and he was so patient and kind he even let my son watch him fix the tire. In light of the stressful situation, the guy who changed tire my entire made my entire day. He was so kind, friendly, and he kept cracking jokes while he was working on my car which put me at ease. He also worked very quickly, and was done in less than 15 minutes! Could not have had a better experience.

Smitty's literally saved our a*s Memorial Day weekend, when our axle cracked in Santa Ynez on our way down to SB. We were traveling from 300 miles away and when we called our insurance Smitty's had the shortest wait for a tow at 3 hours. I implored our insurance to let Smitty's know that 3 hours was a death sentence for my family of four--including a 5 yr old and young pup. Within 15 minutes Kevin, our towing provider from Smitty's called me directly to update me on his ETA, which was an hour away, not 3!!! Of course nobody likes being towed and it's never pleasant, but these people were awful. Despite being in the same zip code, they charged me long distance rates. They did not care about COVID-19 protocols whatsoever and were quite unsanitary. Even worse, they kept harassing me and saying "we shouldn't release your car to you; you seem drunk," but I was completely sober. This persisted for several minutes. I pressed them to use their breathalyzer and to knock it off, then they backed off and said I seemed fine.

Ripped my front bumper off while off loading my car at the shop I asked for it to be towed to and they never paid for the repair. They ripped it off, I paid to fix it. Couldn’t be more furious at how business was conducted. I have used them many times in the past with nothing but great experiences, their drivers are great ppl but management… failed when they decided not to own up to a damage their company caused. They are a horrible company! Rude employees in person as well as over the phone. They have never had any customer service training or how to speak in a professional manner.. they provide nothing to the community and should close down!
I spoke to the Sheriff's ACAB they told me dont worry you can get your car back for like a 100 bucks..
Yet when I called they said it'll be more like 800.. they are thieves and should be put out of business..!
After having kidney failure I have to get dialysis 4times a week and now no car to do.so.. thanks to this unfeeling inhuman company, for no reason

The other day i got home close to midnight after a long day and i was so tired that i didn’t realize that i locked my keys in the car. I quickly. On Thanksgivings, my family got a flat tire from a nail on the freeway. We called AAA for help and they sent us Smitty's Towing. Kyle Hudson arrived in about 20 minutes, which helped since we felt uncomfortable with the amount of cars speeding by us. We were situated on a narrow right lane of the freeway.
He switched out our wrecked tire with a temporary one we had in the trunk of our car. After that, he guided us to Goleta, where we left our car in front of American Tire to have our tire replaced. The replacement couldn't drive us to our destination nor back home due to long distance

We had the unfortunate experience of having a blowout on our 5th wheel trailer on our way to a nice get away to Pismo today and called AAA. They dispatched Tristan from Smitty Tire and towing and he was awesome. It was not an easy job for sure and I cannot believe how they risk their lives on a daily basis. Drivers would not move over to give him… the space as he sat on the road to help us. We had to point out to them to move over. Please people. Give them and anyone else stranded on the side of the road the courteous they deserve. Thank you Tristan. Stay safe out there!!!
