Bodega Bay Veterinary Hospital: There's a reason we chose to live and work in a small town. Call us old-fashioned. We like to know our clients. We think people deserve to be treated with compassion and courtesy. And that applies every bit as much to our animal patients. It never hurts to be polite.

A gentle hand, a soft voice, and a few moments taken to get acquainted are often all it takes to soothe a nervous cat or befriend a defensive, snappy dog. We take the time. Animals are people too. We treat your pets as if they were our own. That's how things should be done. At Bodega Bay Veterinary Hospital you never have to wonder which doctor you'll be seeing.

When you come to BBVH, you always know which doctor you're seeing - because we're a one-doctor practice - with 36+ years of practical family pet care experience.
We value our pet patients and aim to provide the highest standard of care. With services ranging from routine wellness exams to spay and neuter surgery, our veterinary health professionals can meet your pet's medical needs. Below are some of the many services and procedures that we perform on a regular basis - with the utmost concern for pet wellness and safety.
1. Payment is required when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks, and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
In providing general pet medicine, our veterinary staff is capable of diagnosing and treating a variety of pet medical needs. Our approach to diagnostic and therapeutic services is meant to allow you and your pet increased comfort while maintaining confidence that you are in capable hands. At our veterinary office, we take corresponding safety precautions and observe all sanitation standards.
In an added effort to provide your pet with quality care, we offer pet dental services in our veterinary office. It is estimated that 80% of pets exhibit the beginning stages of periodontal disease by age 3, which is why dental exams and teeth cleanings are essential. Also, studies indicate that pets with good oral hygiene tend to live 2 to 4 years longer than pets who neglect dental care.
