I'm going to start by saying that we had a party of 8 which the restaurant accommodated (we had made a reservation) without a problem. 8 is a lot of people to try and get food out to at the same time. Also, our waitress told is she was new. We loved the ambience of this restaurant. It's just a cool building. We did have issues with none of the ordered steaks being cooked as ordered and the side dishes were cold and had to be reheated. For the price I expected better food and that was disappointing. I would we willing to try this restaurant again with maybe less people in our group I guess. I gave

Very Bad experience..came he last year with my Son it was great. This time it was absolutely horrible, steak ,pork chop. Baked potatoes, baked beans, mashed potatoes, old old old .The waitress was good but you know what when you have a problem like this call the owner and I will when I get home,,place will be closed in a short time if they don't correct this,locals I come to see when I am in town told me it went bad but this is not good,had to see for myself..

First off, the inside of the building is really cool if you're into old architecture. Definitely has that old steakhouse/bar feel to it.
Sat at the bar to eat. Bartender was very friendly and helpful. Wings were tasty (get the bourbon sauce) and burger (think it was called the fire eater) was great. Just enough heat without being too spicy.
Finished off with their house made butterfinger cheesecake. Wow, is all I can say. Never had a cheesecake that creamy and delicious. Well done y'all!

BBQ nachos were spot on. It seems as if Thursday may not be the best day to visit, the "truck' runs on Friday. No whipped cream for my pie, and at 6 pm I got the last piece in the house. (Yay me for asking for dessert before ordering my entee).
Waitress was new buy did a great job, although I was a bit concerned when they asked if I needed olives with my drink.
I would definitely give them another opportunity to provide a meal.

I had dinner with a group of 20 people at Carr's Steakhouse after a friend recommended it to us. I had the Pilgrim's Smothered Chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The staff quickly took our orders and the food arrived to our table in a timely manor and was hot. The chicken was cooked well and delicious, the collard greens were average and the mashed potatoes were lacking in seasoning. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would try this place again.

Good bar, which is usually busy on the weeknights for post-work drinks. Food is sometimes hit or miss. I go with the sandwiches which are usually pretty consistent in quality. Fries are excellent. This is probably one of the best restaurants in town, but usually not busy. For some reason everyone prefers freezer-to fryer buffet style restaurants in Mayfield .. go figure

Ate here for lunch with coworkers. Overall it was just OK. My $19 steak was pretty gristly. Impressed with the the size of the side salad and taste was really good. The turnip greens were tasty. The waitress was very attentive and couldn't have been nicer. My coworkers also noted the steaks were just ok. My suggestion would be a little more attention to quality of the meat on the ribeye. Would I go again? Yes, due to taste of sides and waitress quality, just needs work.

Do not waste your time or money. Walked in was treated terribly, stayed anyway, the watched as other people were seated an waited on while we just continued to wait. Waiting staff continually walked by an never once offered to wait on us. Mind you the only words any of my party was asked was table or booth

The service was terrible. We had to get our own silverware. It took 30-35 minutes to get our food and they forgot one of our party's orders. We had to ask for refills two times. They got the order wrong on another one. The salad tomatoes were soured. And on top of that they charged for the order that was forgotten and wasn't brought out till we were ready to leave. Won't be going back.
