My photography combines global photojournalism with capturing sophisticated weddings, mitzvahs, and major life celebrations in New York, Westchester, and Connecticut. I approach weddings and events as a story teller, taking relaxed, beautifully lit photographs that capture the emotions, action and essence of the day.

Todd is the absolute best in photography! My daughter Nicole and her husband Kevin were right on target selecting Todd for not only their engagement pictures but wedding pictures as well! The pictures captured the beauty and love surrounding these wonderful moments in their lives. Each picture is just as spectacular as the next while not only capturing the loving bride and groom but the outstanding grounds and venue.
As an added surprise, my husband and I were presented with a thank you from our daughter and son-in-law....... the most outstanding album with photos of this joyous day! We are overwhelmed

It was a pleasure working with Todd. We hired him to photograph our civil ceremony and he captured some wonderful moments of me and my husband along with our 2 dogs. Todd is WONDERFUL. We first met Todd in 2019 where we discussed our wedding and engagement photos. Our engagement pictures were taken at Pocantino Lake right in both of our backyards, and they could not have come out better. He listened to exactly what we wanted and made us feel so comfortable every step of the way. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Todd was reassuring and right by our side the entire time. It was a pleasure working with Todd! Booking him was simple. At our event, he was easygoing in his manner and made our whole group (ranging in ages from 10 to 82) feel comfortable in taking pictures. At the same, he was very efficient in getting a lot of beautiful shots, both posed and more candid, in a relatively short time. His turnaround in getting the pictures back to us was very quick. We would certainly use him again!

Selecting Todd Shapera as photographer for our daughter's wedding was a perfect choice! Due to COVID-19, our daughter's wedding size and location changed. Todd was so flexible and so easy to work with before the big day and on the wedding day itself. Most importantly, Todd delivered incredible photos of every aspect of the day. The only hard part of working with Todd will be selecting the album photos as there are so many gorgeous ones from which to choose. I recommend Todd Shapera with complete confidence!

I recently got married in Westchester, NY amidst the covid pandemic, and Todd Shapera was absolutely incredible! He captured our day so beautifully, came up with really interesting ways to use the few people we had in attendance to create interesting shots, and was really easy to work with! We are so incredibly happy with our photos and are so glad he was there to help us remember this special day in our lives. Would definitely recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer!
