Mihir Kothari started EcoDirect as a dry cleaning delivery service in 2002, providing uniform and guest laundry services to Chicago hotels. In 2014, EcoDirect expanded to provide linen service for hotels' Rooms and F&B (Food & Beverage) departments through a new, 40,000 square foot facility just 10 miles north of downtown Chicago.

Our Greater Chicago laundry plant is located just 10 miles north of the downtown in Niles. Customers include luxury hotels and resorts around Downtown Chicago, O'Hare airport, Midway airport, and the North and West suburbs. With 40,000 square feet, our plant is one of the largest laundry operations in the city with two Milnor tunnel washer systems with plenty of capacity to protect against service disruptions.
