Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) is transportation to and from covered non-emergency medical appointments or services, NEMT is only available when a Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid Program) member has no other means of transportation. Be determined to not have access to other means of transportation including free transportation.
A client is in need of transportation outside of normal physician office hours to a care facility but is not in an emergency event. This facility may include a Trauma Center if this is the nearest and most appropriate facility. There is no limit to the number of daily trips an eligible member can receive from MedRide.

We are currently recruiting for fulltime hourly positions in the Colorado area of Crowley, Bent, Prowers, Mesa, Gunnison, Garfield, El Paso, Fremont, Otero, Las Animas, and Huerfano Counties. Reps answer calls rite away. They know addresses also, when I dont.. On time Every pick up. And non of the drivers get an attitude if if takes a few mins to get to their car.
All curtious, cheerful, they pay attention to me n my small son to make sure we r comfortable.

The person in the office that I spoke with to schedule my ride was very nice.
The person Mike that I had pick me up and take me to my appt in Canon City was very nice and helpful!
He was very patient with me and even came to my door to let me know he was there to pick me up.
At my appt he waited for me and asked me to call him when I was ready for a ride home. He was there to get me within 3 minutes.
I had a very pleasant experience with Medride!
I will definitely use their service again when I need it!

I love Medrides driver Matthew. He was the best and very nice. He was punctual and got me to my appointments on time. It's the office personnel, dispatchers, and management that I have a problem with. They're not very friendly or customer service oriented. I called to schedule my last three appointments for physical therapy and they left me stranded saying that I needed pre-authorization because I canceled previously for poor customer service...BS. Did somebody say "woke?"

From a former employee perspective there is poor communication from management, no benefits available and dishonest. They recently opted to contract with intellaride a broker company for dispatching rides which is causing a lot of upset for the customer and eliminating jobs. They have several complaints about poor customer service and rude people while scheduling but keep those employees and throw out the ones with no complaints. Intelliride does take care of the schedules and they try their best, but there are rules that they must also follow for insurance reasons and it may take a bit to get things lined out.
Medride is committed to quality customer service & strives for the best, they are an awesome company not only to work for but also for their customers. Medride management is always just a phone call or an email away for positive or negative feedback.
