Title Associates of Columbia, LLC is a full-service real estate title and escrow company. As buyers and sellers make plans for their closing, we work behind the scenes to ensure clear title and a successful transfer of ownership. Since forming in 2009, our goal has been to deliver peace of mind to our clients: buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents.
Title Associates is an independent title insurance agent. Our policies are underwritten by Fidelity National Title Insurance or First American Title Insurance. Title insurance coverage is an important consideration in every real estate transaction. We take great care to ensure a thorough search which includes mortgages, judgments, property taxes, and IRS liens.
If you are financing your purchase or refinancing your existing mortgage, the lender will provide the closing statement to you three days before closing. If your purchase is a cash transaction, Title Associates will provide you with a copy for review prior to closing. If the property being sold is in an estate or coming out of an estate, additional information could be required prior to closing.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience using Title Associates to close on our first property. We had tons of questions involving a fairly complicated closing and we were helped and guided every step of the way. Everyone there was highly professional, kind, and knowledgeable.
