Village Inn was established by Earl W. DeSombre in 1978. It started with a simple menu of Pizza & Sub-Sandwiches. After the first two years, a char-co grill and chicken broaster were added and the current menu started to take shape. In the early years, the business opened at 4pm in the afternoon with a late night closing time that extended to 1am on weekend nights.

After a period of years a lunch hour was added. In about 1983 the hours were increased to include the entire day from 11am to? (closing time varied from week days to weekends) Until 2011 when we started opening at 10:30am daily. Then in 2008 the adjacent corner gas station property was added to the Village Inn and a remodeling and expansion was started.

Amazing service. We had stopped on a Saturday afternoon and there was the only one gentleman working. He polietly informed us that he was the only one and there were two orders ahead of ours. We completely understood. There were five of us. He took our order and even though he was he super busy, he still had all of our food out, refills, etc. within 15 mins. The food was amazing!!!! Very kind. Fast and accurate service. Definitely recommend even if you have to wait.

Good place to go in town, our 1st time, we had pizza! It was good & cheesy also tried the breaded mushrooms, they were delicious! Not much staff, you order at the counter and that was fine. The gentleman at the counter was super!

We live in Texas and look forward to getting the supersteak sandwich whenever we are in Wisconsin! Absolutely the BEST! We also love the broasted chicken. We will be back tomorrow for that! 🙂

We’ve just had the best dinner here. I had the hot ham & cheese & it was great! Mac had the bacon double cheeseburger. He said it was one of if not the best cheeseburger he’s ever had! The fries were perfect!
Tim was proud of his food & he is right to be proud!
Since we’re from Colorado our visits won’t be as often as we’d like. But when Mac is here for work you will be seeing him!!

Worst BLT pizza I've ever had, super dry. Regular pizza average at best. Cheesy garlic bread dry and hard. They also forgot the marinara I ordered. Expensive. Never again.
