AIA Orlando
Welcome to the official website of the Orlando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. AIA Orlando is one of the largest AIA chapters in the state of Florida. The chapter consists of over 800 members, including allied and associate members. Our chapter is dedicated to serving its membership by creating opportunities for professional development and fellowship.

AIA Orlando is also committed to serving the community and heightening the recognition of our profession to the community, and we consistently encourage all of our members to become active leaders in the community and the profession through participation in one of the many committees and initiatives that exist within our organization.

The Orlando area also offers a vibrant diversity of architecture (from Frank Lloyd Wright, Bauhaus to Calatrava), has a rich arts community, an innovative technology and simulation on industry, and is leading hub for healthcare.AIA Conference on Architecture 2017 provided a unique opportunity to showcase our members, allied members, and local partners.

By joining a committee, you get involved in an area of personal interest, gain an outlet for things you are good at but may not have a chance to do in your work, build your professional network, create strategies to grow & develop the architecture & design community in Central Florida, meet new people & have fun interacting, brainstorming & working with others.
Local city and county governments have many boards, committees, task forces, and other advisory groups that require volunteers to represent and advocate for the needs of our communities. Find out more about available positions within your county or city below. Flagler County is comprised of five municipalities - Beverly Beach, Bunnell, Flagler Beach, Marineland, and Palm Coast.
The Center for independent living sponsors and works with individuals with disabilities to facilitate access to their residences. AIA provided funding for the ramp as well as volunteers for both morning and afternoon shifts. The ramp was built for a resident of Orange County who needed wheelchair access to their home due to a hip replacement and knee replacement surgery.
