Before forming Sparks Law, Jonathan worked at the United States Department of Justice, the United States Senate Office, the Attorney General's office for the District of Columbia, and as an attorney at King & Spalding here in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School, where he excelled at Corporate and Business law, Torts, Litigation, and Securities law.
Although I prefer to focus my practice on small business counsel, estate planning and estate administration, my broad experience in virtually every practice area allows me to offer creative solutions tailored to each client's unique situation. Having engaged in both business and estate litigation earlier in my career, I pride myself on transparently assessing risks that could arise for individuals and small businesses in the future.
Jim McKenzie is a business lawyer, whose practice focuses on the legal needs of business owners, and individuals who need assistance protecting their assets and preserving their estates. Mr. McKenzie was the founder and president of McKenzie Law Associates for over 35 years, and has just recently merged his practice with Sparks Law LLC, where he serves as Senior Counsel.

We have been repeat customers of Sparks Law and will definitely work with them in the future. We have worked with them for a dispute and to help revise agreements. So have experienced several angles of their services. Their customer service is amazing and they are extremely knowledgeable! We have worked with business attorneys in the past who just treated us like another number and didn't really seem to care what the outcome of our dispute was. Which was definitely not the case here.
