Completed IFS Couples Training Intimacy from the Inside Out Level 1, 2, Advanced & Post-Advanced. I have been married for 44 years, raising two children who have given us two wonderful grandsons. After working for a major corporation for 32 years, I followed my passion to become a therapist. My personal and business experience adds a depth of understanding to my clinical training.
I've been in private practice since 2011. About half of my clients are couples. The other half are adult individuals working primarily on anxiety, mood or relationship issues. I get a lot of referrals from former clients who say I was instrumental in helping them meet their goals.

Services
Once we set up an appointment, I'll e-mail you a link for our sessions along with information on setting up your patient portal account and forms to e-sign. As a marriage and family therapist, I think about everything in context. My training helps me to look for the big picture. Even when I'm working with an individual, I'm taking your family, school or work environment into consideration.
When you call for an appointment, we will work together to decide who should attend the first visit. For couples therapy, I must see both partners together for the first visit. Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are highly qualified to provide mental health services. In Connecticut, licensed MFTs must have a minimum of a master's degree and at least one year and 1000 hours of post-graduate supervised clinical experience.
