Services
Dr. Fante is a pioneer in minimally invasive surgery and introduced cosmetic procedures such as the endoscopic cheek lift to Colorado. He's also the author of medical texts and research papers on facial reconstruction after skin cancer surgery, endoscopic tear drainage surgery, cosmetic eyelid surgery, and thyroid eye disease (Graves Disease), among many others.
Our practice is unique in its dual concentration on facial aesthetics and on oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Our doctors are extraordinarily well-trained, with extensive education and vast experience. Our focus is on ways to improve your appearance and/or to help provide very specialized medical and surgical care for particular problems.
Dr. Tara Goecks graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors, after which she served as a community health volunteer with the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso, West Africa. This inspired her, in large part, to pursue a career in medicine. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Vermont School of Medicine and completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina Storm Eye Institute.
Dr. Michael Hawes was a highly valued member of the Fante Centre team from 2015 to 2020 when he retired. He combined vast experience and a warm bedside manner to provide top-notch medical and surgical care for our patients. If you have been a patient of Dr. Hawes in the past and would like to see one of our doctors now, we have most of the medical records from his past career.
For the past decade, our team has enthusiastically volunteered to help out in many ways throughout our local Denver community, as well as for our larger human family in other parts of the U.S. and around the world. Denver Dream Center is a non-profit dedicated to helping neighborhoods by feeding people, giving kids an opportunity to play in community, picking up trash, and more!

Dr Fante and all of his staff were very welcoming, comforting and professional. He walked me through all my options and possible outcomes. When it comes to your eyes and face, I only wanted the best. I have been a nurse for 15 years and I am pretty critical of my drs. With Dr Fante and his staff, I feel like I got the best.

My surgery was to open up my tear ducts using stents. From the beginning, throughout the three months to the end, my experience was horrific. Within the first twenty eight hours, I was being treated in a parking lot rather than the emergency room (which was five blocks away), several similar issues inbetween until my last visit where I had the last stent removed in the office, nothing went right. The last thing my doctor said to me was, " maybe you'd like to get a second opinion", AFTER THE FACT. WT.... Zero compassion! Never again. And, by the way, surgery was completely unsuccessful. 😞

I was referred to Dr. Fante by a dear friend. I have a few scars on my face that have been treated with various treatments. I was never really satisfied with the results. I booked an appointment with Dr. Fante and was so glad I did. He knew exactly what needed to be done to achieve what I wanted. Yes, I still have scars on my face but the technique he used to fill and soften made them hardly visible! I could not be more pleased. Thank you, Dr. Fante!

I waited for 45 minutes for my 10 minute appointment. With a two hour commute, it was challenging for me. I would have appreciated some understanding from the front desk. Or at least letting me know that the Dr. was running late with an apology. Unfortunately there was none. Dr. Fante is wonderful. It's just asking for some sensitivity from the front desk people.

Very nice office and staff, very attentive. I’ve only had a consultation so I can’t comment on their surgeries. I was wary when the quote I was given changed due to the laser they were going to use. As they only do laser surgery but they do not own their own laser, but rent one. So that fee of an extra $500 was added along with another $700 office fee. Seemed excessive compared to other reputable surgeons.

Dr Fante and his team are amazing. My ophthalmologist recommended that I see them to treat issues related to my 87 year old drooping eyelids. Responsive to my concerns, Dr Fante performed the necessary procedures and ensured I was more than satisfied with the results. His team members were a pleasure to work with as well. I highly recommend this practice.

I recently met Dr Fante for a second opinion on a lower bleph procedure I had performed by a different surgeon three months ago. Dr. Fante is extremely caring and knowledgeable. I should have chosen him in the first place for my surgery. Looking forward to working with him and his staff in the future when my eyes are more healed and a possible revision of some sort can be done. He is known as an expert for revisions and I trust if and when it's time I will be in good hands. Also kudos to Megan his cosmetic concierge for being so caring and wise. What a wonderful and friendly place. The office staff was professional and very welcoming. Megan, Dr. Fante's assistant was a pure delight. She was informative, kind and very friendly; I felt at home immediately. I am so very excited to proceed with my surgery with the Fante eye & Face center, in March. Having dealt with the residual effects of my 2003 Bells Palsey has been difficult for all these years, I so look forward to more symmetry and feeling greater confidence once again!

I met with Dr. Goecke this morning to see if I was eligible for Blepharoplasty surgery. Here's the thing, I saw a different doc that did several tests that found I was eligible for this surgery to where my insurance would pay for it but their surgeon was not under my insurance plan. So my insurance told me that Dr. Goecke was under the plan and that is why I met with her. She did some of the same tests that were already done by the other doctor but not all of them and determined that her measurements showed the surgery would not be covered by my insurance and would be considered cosmetic and

I'm new to fillers, so I did quite a bit of research before picking a doctor to have my tear troughs done. Dr. Goecks was wonderful. She answered all of my questions (I had a LOT) and I elected to have the procedure done that day. I bruise very easily, so my bruising and swelling was quite extensive even though Dr. Goecks took every precaution to… try and prevent this. I expected a longer than average recovery time, but what I didn't expect was for these wonderful people to offer me laser treatments to help bring down the bruising and swelling...and boy did it help! Denise was wonderful

I had an eye lift done by Dr. Fante. During my initial appointment I felt very reassured that I had come to the right place. Dr. Fante and his assistant took time to discuss all of my concerns. The procedure itself was a breeze. In and out with no issues or pain. There was no pain during recovery only swelling and bruising. I got my stitches out today. Again, no pain. The results are remarkable. I think I look much better and my peripheral eye sight is much improved. I would not hesitate to recommend this procedure to anyone considering it.

I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Fante. I received an eyelift on Jan 14 2015. The staff and Dr Fante himself was very helpful. It took me quite a while to recover, much longer then I was advised. I returned for two additional appointments to monitor my recovery. I think my expectations were off, this is my first procedure, and the two thing I took away from the experience is that people recover differently, some much more slowly than others and that there is always a scar however small.
Having said that, 10 months later I really love my eyes. I look less tired and prettier overall

Dr. Fante assessed my "drooping eyelids" in early January 2015, then clearly explained the recommended surgical procedure to correct the situation. The outpatient surgery as well as the recovery period went exactly as he had told me it would. I just had my 2-month follow up appointment with him today and all is well. If you are like me and use Botox to keep from looking like a Klingon, Dr. Fante is your man. He is a great listener and asks questions about the look you are hoping to achieve to make sure you are on the same page. He can give you the waxy, dead-faced starlet look if you wish, but also can do minor injections that just lessen the severity of worry lines and prevent new ones from occurring.
