I have been working with NES for over 2 years now. I have been paid for every event I worked and compensated for any extra hours. Events are a variety of trade shows, conventions, and small to large scale events. Each job is different and will give you great experience. I would recommend working for National Event Staffing.

Do not utilize this agency. They are spammers who acquire your information from a third party, and then spam your email MULTIPLE times daily with fake or extremely low paying job offers. I have emailed them at least a dozen times telling them not to contact me again, and it has continued to persist for over a year. No legitimate agency will make you pay a fee to access job listings; that should be your first sign that this company is a joke. Oh well. I just filed a complaint with the BBB, and currently working on one with the FCC. You mess with the bull, you get the horns.

1) NES charges FEES for services NOT provided. NES charges a fee for a PRO account that does not get you more or faster bookings as advertised.
2) NES tried to short my paycheck. NES tried to breach their email contract/tried to underpay me for an event worked. When I brought this to their attention (with proof of contracted rate) they were very unprofessional in resolving the issue and went as far as to potentially "deactivate my login" to their website and not fix it after multiple requests (basically potentially blacklisting me because I caught the underpayment and requested

I love working for National Event Staffing. They have great and thorough communication, are very friendly and pay promptly which is a big deal! Their events are also really fun so working is a great experience, just like it should be. I would highly recommend working for these guys if you ever get the chance.

I did the green energy green event in San Jose on Santana Row where people could test drive hybrid and electric cars. It was a very packed busy non-stop event for 8 hours. The people were very nice and friendly, and they provided us with a $10 certificate for lunch which was nice. Every one was very professional and worked hard and made sure that everyone coming to test drive enjoyed themselves. They paid us very quickly and all the other members staffed worked hard and did a good job. Thank you National Event Staffing for this opportunity and paying us so quickly for working. National Event Staffing is a great company with great events, they pay well and are usually a good amount of hours spent working. They are very good with getting emails out and keeping you updated of events in your area. The staff i've managed to deal with were hard working and successfully completed events very professionally. They don't take months to pay you and they are good at getting back to you with confirmation of events.

What a pleasure it was to work for National Event Staffing this past Sunday & Monday for their client at the International Beauty Show in New York. I was booked sufficiently in advance so I could go over all of the product, training and event details (which made my job and preparation for the job, so much easier)! The client could not have been better to work for and I didn't have to wait the average 2-6 weeks to get paid! I got paid, right then and there, on the spot!

Update: THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They charged me $740 for services that they never gave and when I tried to get a refund, they did not give it - i had to go through my credit card company and file a dispute. They went from emailing me three times a day to never answering my emails or picking up my calls. All calls to the company go straight to voicemail and all calls to my rep were to voicemail only. I have yet to hear a real person working here.

Great gigs, great clients, great pay! I recently worked an event in Houston that went beyond fantastic! The client was from Germany, fun but handled the work part very professional as well so it was a perfect balance. I would definitely work with NES and recommend to everyone. I've worked for National Event Staffing for about 3 years and they have always been quick with communicating via email or calls and there are no hassles with being booked for an event. Freedom Jolly and others have been very professional with me. I work for a lot of other promotional agencies and they do not all seem to work as smoothly as NES. NES is on my top 5 favorite promo agencies to work with. Since you get paid by the client, that is all worked out between you and them.
