CSD was founded in 1992 by Cindy S. Davis, P.G., a former manager at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Since then, CSD has grown to include personnel from disciplines including civil and environmental engineering and contracting, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, land surveying, computer-aided drafting, environmental science, cartography, environmental drilling and geology.
CSD Environmental Services, Inc. (CSD) is a woman-owned business, offering low-cost, expert environmental drilling and sampling services throughout Illinois and surrounding states. Heartland utilizes an AMS 9600 PowerProbe direct-push unit mounted on a compact track loader. This combination results in an extremely maneuverable rig which can operate in even the smallest and tightest of drilling locations.
