We had a GREAT experience with Airmax when they recently installed our new Lennox XC20 Air conditioner, air handler and smart thermostat. From Ron at the initial appointment, to working with Kathy to schedule, to Patrick and his crew for the install, the entire process was smooth and seamless. Ron visited and learned what we were looking for, and delivered an estimate the same day. We had a few questions, which were answered accurately and promptly. Once we agreed to move forward, Kathy contacted us to schedule the install, which occured two weeks later. Another member of the team, Mike, came and

Dishonest, unprofessional, unreliable.

We used AirMax for both installation and follow up maintenance. Both experiences were disappointing and the company was dishonest on several occasions.

For installation, we waited several weeks and were pushed out a few times. They removed our old system on a Friday during one of the hottest summer days. We specifically asked them if the job would be complete that day because we had young children and didn't want to be without AC over the weekend. They were dishonest and didn't finish. The workers were unprofessional and our concerns were not taken

AC hasn’t been working and called AirMax to repair. After my 3RD appointment we made without it still being fixed, they canceled on my appointment the day of without any notice prior. I’ve been waiting for two weeks to have it fixed and told us they don’t want to be liable anymore. Not to mention the service is expensive and nothing was even repaired. Employees are not to mention rude and disrespectful toward my situation and seemed to not care that I’ve been without AC for a while in this hot weather. Ironically; this is your job.
Update: called another HVAC company and had the issue

Air Max installed a New Lennox air conditioning system at my home yesterday. To say they were professional, on time and everything you could hope for in a home improvement company would be an understatement. From the time I signed the contract to the day of installation everything went smoothly. A AAA company to be seriously considered

Today my wife informed me the AC isn't working. I know the busy season is just about here. I had Airmax install my system years ago and when I had an issue they came, found the leak, charged me nothing because they were honest and told me it was a braise they did. I knew I would use them in the future. WELL THE FUTURE WAS TODAY! I called and was greeted by Cathy/Kathy. She was spunky and a pleasure to speak to. She called me back within an hour and told me that she squeezed Nick in to come here. Nick was here, diagnosed the capacitor and replaced it all in an hour. My wife will be happy and so

I have used AirMax Long Island for several years and as a widow it is difficult to know if a job is good. BUT I never have to worry about my heating system they come and clean and do a great job.
Recently they connected a new washer and dryer on my first floor and the young man Kevin was wonderful. He did the job quickly had everything up and running with no problems for me was pleasant and cleaned up after he was done.
I would had have recommended them to both family and friends. Thanks again Kevin for a great job

Waited two weeks for an appointment only to be told "sorry, no can do" on the day of the appointment. Excuse was too many contract customers who jump the line. Total waste of time and zero communication. Don't bother.

My heat broke at 3:00am. I called them, and they took over a day to respond, and I was left buying space heaters while I waited for their "emergency service". The person who came to the door was rude, covered in dirt, and reeked of cigarettes and alcohol. He didn't even say "hello". I opened the door, he walked in immediately and said he was there for the heat. I was then charged $850 for a part that costs less 3x less, plus the additional $135 for just checking it out. I called to complain, and the lady who answered was the most condescending person I've ever

After my encounter with Airmax Long Island, I can say with no doubt in my mind, that these people are despicable. They advertise a 24 hour emergency service, but refuse to actually help you in anyway until their regular business hours. The heat went out on our home at midnight. We called Airmax and were told we'd have someone get back to us soon. Apparently their definition of "soon" is 7 hours later. When they finally sent someone to our home, they revealed it would be $135 just to look at the heater. It ended up needing a part that they told us would cost $600 after tax. The same
