Since 1991, Lon Lane's Inspired Occasions has served the catering needs of Kansas City's most prominent citizens and corporations. Our tenured and talented event planners design menus, rental equipment, visual displays, props, floral, music and service around the themes and dreams of the client. The 20-full time professionals and on call staff of 75 can handle events ranging from intimate dinners for 2 to major events from 5,000 or more guests.

I have used Lon Lane's Inspiried Occasions for special catered events for many years. I have always been impressed with the creativity of the menus, suggestions for decor, and professionalism of all the staff. They were able to pivot during the past year and provide delicious take-out meals and wonderful box dinners. I would highly recommend Inspired Occasions to anyone seeking a unique and fabulous experience.

I was so impressed by the entire experience from Lon Lane's Inspired Occasions! My friend was recovering from surgery, and a frequent customer of theirs had suggested that I order their dinner as a possible get well gift instead of flowers. I am so happy I took his advice! They went out of their way to get the order precisely correct and best of all, the dinner was delicious and they even added an additional surprise for her. She raved about each and every dish, down to the loaf of bread! Instead of flowers that wilt, consider sending a dinner as a thoughtful gesture to family and friends, instead

Everyone who is employed is extremely kind. Those who take my orders are very knowledgeable about the menu offerings. If I have meals delivered, they are always delivered on time, with directions for reheating and serving. If I pick up meals, they are always ready. Someone sets them inside my car, so I never have to get out. The packaging is always attractive. Each container has a sticker with a Prepared On date and a Serve By date on the lid. The meals are always delicious and can be ordered to conform to various dietary needs.

We order weekly from LLIO and are always totally pleased with the entrees and desserts we get! Every week, we get to order from a new and creative menus as well as some of our past favorites! Reheating instructions are clear and accurate. Their delivery is always within the time frame they give us.

Lon Lane's has become a staple in our home!! Not only is their food delicious, but they feel like an extended part of our family!! Their service and attention to detail is IMPECCABLE!!!! Throughout this Pandemic they have been a light for me. As a mom who has needed to be home and do virtual school (all the things!!), having their delicious meals delivered straight to our door has been a life saver!! We have used the services of Lon Lane's Inspired Occasions for many event. Both here in KC and off site at Evening Place Gardens. The ease, the great mark of service and thoughtfulness and of course the food. It is always a great staff, a great presentation, and again easy, delightful and total complete in all details. There same attention has been given to there pick up and delivery service during this time of social diapering. Thankful there are still with us and providing most tastily morsels.
