The orthodontist, oral surgeon, pediatric or general dentist, plastic surgeon and speech therapist work together to correct the associated facial, dental and speech problems of oral and facial clefts. Many times mutual interactions with your family dentist, pediatric dentist, or other specialty of dentistry are required to create an optimal oral appearance and health.
Orthodontic Treatment is available for anyone from age 7 and up. Below are a few of the treatment options and new technologies that we have available to help you on your journey. The Orthodontic Journey to a better smile begins as early as age 7. We call this phase of treatment, Early Treatment or Phase 1 Treatment.
Ceramic braces are made of translucent (clear) material. They are most popular with adult patients, due to their cosmetic appeal. The only drawbacks to ceramic brackets are that they are more fragile, and the elastic ties can discolor between orthodontic visits. The Invisalign(R) System is a series of clear overlay templates called aligners that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move the teeth.
Invisalign(R) straightens your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. It's virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you're straightening your teeth. Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist.
Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age. However, there is an ideal time when the best improvement can be achieved. Contrary to popular belief, orthodontics is not something to postpone until a child is older. In fact, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children have an orthodontic screening no later than age 7.

Dr. Limbaugh at Limbaugh Orthodontics is simply the best orthodontist around! Both of my children had terribly crooked teeth as well as many other dental issues. She worked with them through all of it until they both ended with straight, healthy, beautiful smiles! I would recommend her to anyone needing any type of orthodontic work done. She’s so kind and so very talented at what she does!

What an amazing experience. Not a sentence you'd expect to read regarding an orthodontist visit, is it? Everyone was so nice, friendly and knowledgeable. The visit didn't feel overwhelming, and there was no pressure to purchase anything. The office setting is beautifully decorated and what I loved most was it didn't have that "dentist smell". I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Tyler is 12 and has been a patient since he was 9. He loves the attention provided by the staff. We are always greeted by a hello and a smile. The office is always bright clean and welcoming and Dr Limbaugh is the best. She always provides enough details about treatment needed and her patients are always satisfied.

Went in for a free consultation and loved it. Such a nice, CLEAN place with a great atmosphere (super fun music!). They were very prompt with getting to me at my appointment time. VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff (Melanie was great, as was the young woman who took my pictures and X-rays, though I've unfortunately forgotten her name). Dr. Limbaugh was so nice, so understanding, and had a great plan in mind for a better smile, and I can't wait to get started!

I absolutely love Dr. Limbaugh and her staff! My daughter and I are both patients and from day one we were treated with kindness and professionalism. Dr. Limbaugh has a way of making you feel like you’re family. She’s kind, funny and it shows that she really cares about her patients and staff. Even when I’m there with my daughter for her appointments, she always asks how I’m doing/feeling with my treatment and if there is anything I need. Although the office (which itself is very nice and clean) is usually busy, we’ve always been seen by our appointment times and have never felt rushed

I had an initial consultation with Dr. Limbaugh and I loved every bit of the experience. They staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and the facility is extremely modern. Dr. Limbaugh took the time to explain my options to me and even scheduled an external referral for me.
