Brooks graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in finance and attended the Charleston School of Law. After college, Brooks worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant helping people reach their investment goals. In 1991, Brooks co-founded an aircraft charter and management company based in Charleston.
Attorney J. Brooks Davis is a professional pilot. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is type rated in Learjet aircraft. Brooks has several thousand hours of experience in a variety of different aircraft flying cargo, medevac and executive transportation. In 1991, he co-founded an aircraft charter and management company based in Charleston.
Attorney J. Brooks Davis has many years of experience in aircraft consulting, sales and acquisitions. Prior to beginning his law practice, Brooks worked for one of the world's largest aircraft brokerages selling jet aircraft. He also owned and managed Piper and Mooney aircraft dealerships. He has been involved in every aspect of an aircraft transaction from the listing through the closing and understands the complex issues that are involved.

A friend recommended Mr Brooks Davis to me and I’m so glad she did. I needed someone to fight for me, and he went above my expectations. He took all the stress off of my shoulders, and, along with the knowledge it takes to maneuver the complex legal system, returned the best outcome. He returns all calls, even on weekends! His fees are reasonable, and for me, that was important. I cant recommend him enough. He’s a great attorney , and more important, a good man.

Years ago, Mr. Davis helped me with a rather small dilemma (but which back then seemed like the hugest thing). Mr. Brooks, if you see this, thank you!
