VCH sales homes that come in boxes. They don't build the house. They merge the boxes and fix the cracks (touch up) and hook the utilities up. These boxes are 80 to 85 percent complete. So why does it take so long to touch up and do hook ups?

The web site states "Speedy delivery lowers interest costs
In just 90 to 120 days from the day you sign a contract with us, your new modular home will be finished and ready for occupancy (weather permitting). " This is false advertising.

It's been 10 months (or 300 days) and they still haven't completed my home. There are several

Everyone was so helpful and they didn't mind spending extra time with us to make sure that we didn't have any unanswered questions. If we ever build again (just completed our new house) our next new home will be a Valley Custom Home also... wonderful experience

On behalf of my daughter and son-in-law, the experience was great during the sales pitch. Once the contract was signed the customer service went downhill fast. Phone calls were not returned. Days and often weeks passed with no one working at the job site. The project manager was disorganized and often had no idea when subcontractors would arrive. Excuses for delays were plentiful. When the house was set on the basement walls, the dimensions did not match. As a result there were gaps between the bottom of the vinyl siding and concrete walls of 2" in some areas. You could see the plywood on the exterior
