Services
At the first visit to the orthodontic office, diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient.
Orthodontic appliances can be made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to a corrected position. This is a great time to wear braces! Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth.
Two-phase orthodontic treatment is a very specialized process that encompasses tooth straightening and physical, facial changes. The major advantage of a two-phase treatment is to maximize the opportunity to accomplish the ideal healthy, functional, aesthetic result that will remain stable throughout your life.
Appliance: Anything your orthodontist attaches to your teeth which moves your teeth or changes the shape of your jaw. Archwire: The metal wire that acts as a track to guide your teeth along as they move. It is changed periodically throughout treatment as your teeth move to their new positions. Bracket: A metal or ceramic part cemented ("bonded") to your tooth that holds your archwire in place.

Just walked out of my last visit with Dr. Seth and I couldn't be happier with my teeth! His staff worked so well with their patients that including me. The visits always went smoothly and the whole team, including the doctor, were very careful and sure of what they were doing. Just listen to the directions given and you'll have a great smile in no time! Overall, my experience was outstanding that I even brought in my younger brother to get his braces done here lol. Dr Margulies and the whole staff are wonderful. They are always willing to accommodate your schedule and do their best to resolve any type of issues. The office Manager, Diane, genuinely looks out for the best interest of the patient and handles all the insurance inquiries... rather the battles in dealing with these insurance providers. Working together we were able to rectify a coverage issue and we both came out with the win! Much appreciated.

I have been coming to this wonderful place since I started high school which was 3 years ago. While I was here I was always treated kindly and the doctors always remembered my name. Dr.Margulies and his staff provided the best experience I could ever ask for during the process of getting my braces on and even after I got them off. Most people hate going to the dentist because of the pain and discomfort they may cause but I can honestly say that all 4 or 5 years of going to this dentist have been nothing but pleasant. I was surprised they only took a couple of days to get the approval and a quick appointment to put the braces on. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I would highly recommend Amboy Orthodontics! Dr. Margulies and his staff are wonderful! They all work well together and make you feel very comfortable. The Dr always takes the time to answer any questions we have. My son got his braces off in January and his teeth look amazing! People always comment on how great his teeth look and I proudly tell them where he had his care! My daughter will be started treatment with him soon. She isn't a big fan of the dentist, but I'm sure she'll be in great hands with Dr. Margulies. He is so patient. His office is spotless!!! Thanks Dr!!!

We love our orthodontist!!! Our 8 year old son is typically nervous at any medical appointment. Dr. Margulies is very kind and explains everything he is going to do. This puts him at ease. The staff is very friendly as well. We would, AND DO, highly recommend this office to anyone who needs it. Our friend's son just got braces there today actually!!
