I'm a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). As a member, I represent the best-trained and most highly qualified inspectors in the business. I follow the inspection industry's most comprehensive Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics which means that I have a duty to put my clients' interests first.
IR detects the temperature based upon wavelength of the light emitted by the object (longer wavelength, colder). IR, therefore, does not show the temperature of objects that reflect light, (glass, shiny metal, light colored objects in direct sunlight). IR, does not "see through walls", but only displays the very slight differences in surface temperature of the wall.

This was my first home inspection on my first home buying experience and I have to say I feel very fortunate to have had Mr. David walk me through every step of the process. Not only did he do a very thorough inspection, he answered any questions I had along the way with very direct and honest answers. Like I said this was my first experience but I feel as if he was very fairly priced. From the first contact to the completion of the report Mr. David was very punctual and extremely helpful with any needs and concerns I’ve had. I highly recommend Myers inspections for all your inspection needs

Mr. Myers quickly responded to my request for his service and saved my wife and I from a bunch of worries and anxiety about our new construction. He thoroughly inspected the home and pointed out issues that weren’t obvious and explained how things SHOULD be. Everything he identified on his report was corrected and my wife and I closed on the home yesterday 9/29/21. I would definitely recommend him, you won’t be disappointed!

I was in the process of buying a home and I was advised to hire an inspector to inspect the house. I did some researching and saw Mr Dave Myers with all the positive reviews so I went on and called him. Mr Dave was able to set up an appointment 2 days later. Mr Dave was very thorough with his inspection and gave his recommendation on every defect he had found. I would highly recommend Dave Myers Inspections If anybody is concerned about a home they want to buy. Thank you Mr Dave you saved me 30 years of my life paying for a home thats not even worth buying.

Mr. Myer was very informative on every little detail big or small. He was able to come next day if needed and was understanding when we had to reschedule a home inspection. The price of the home inspection was well worth it. Saved me from a money pit.

Dave Myers is excellent and thorough! When we needed an inspector for a home in the Fort Polk/DeRidder area, he was our first call. He answered right away, gave us a quote, and scheduled our inspection only a few days out. Even though we're located remotely, he worked with our agent and kept us informed throughout the process. Dave is thorough, affordable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I don't know him personally or anything—but after being his client—I highly recommend him.

I had tried calling a few other home inspectors based on a list I was given by a local realtor. Dave was not on that list, but after a few frustrating phone calls to other companies, I found Dave online with very good reviews, so decided to call him. He answered the phone immediately himself, and everything was a breeze thereafter.
He was immediately responsive in getting me the paperwork, confirming everything we talked about, and I was on his schedule for three days later. He took the time to explain everything in great detail, and was an absolute pleasure to talk to.
