Services
Dr. Johnna (John-na) Thomas grew up just outside of Kansas City on a farm. She is a first generation college graduate and dentist. Her love for learning began while achieving her first Bachelor's degree in Biology & Psychology. A year later, she attended University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and attained her Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.

When half or more of your natural tooth has been lost to decay or trauma, it is best to restore the tooth with a crown in order to restore and strengthen your underlying natural tooth.
This appointment typically takes around 40-60 minutes. During your check-up, we will perform an oral cancer screening, take any necessary x-rays, clean your teeth above and below your gum line to get rid of any soft and hard deposits such as plaque and tartar, polish your teeth to remove any staining on the outside of your teeth, provide understandable oral hygiene instructions, and check for dental cavities or dental issues.

Dr. Thomas is kind, compassionate, and careful. She explains the procedures. She is an amazing dentist. She does the cleaning and exams. She is very thorough. The staff at Restore Dental are kind and professional. I had a very rough experience with my former dentist. I was very afraid of what would happen with my tooth. Dr. Thomas referred me to an amazing endodontist, who fixed my tooth. I trust Dr. Thomas and her staff completely. My three children also see Dr. Thomas, and they love her.

I can’t say enough good things about Restore Dental, Johnna D Thomas, DDS. From the minute you walk in the door, it doesn’t seem like a dreaded dental office. Dr Thomas takes the time to visit with you, doesn’t scam you with unnecessary x-rays, root canals, whitening kits, etc. Dr Thomas actually does her own dental cleaning! Her receptionist is so kind and remembers you from your last visit! The dental assistant is so laidback, so refreshing! I was delighted to get a personal note of thanks later in the afternoon. I’m in my 70’s … without a doubt, the best DDS I’ve ever experienced

I cannot say enough good things about the ladies at Restore Dental! I have a lot of dental anxiety and everyone there was so unbelievably kind and understanding. Dr Johnna, Chelsea and Amanda are amazing! They explained everything to me every step of the way and made sure I was comfortable. Wonderful experience for my first visit today with Dr Thomas and her entire staff. Very welcoming environment, I felt like I had known them forever. The office is clean and comfortable. Would like to say that Restore Dental was wonderful to my 89 year old Mother that had to be seen for a possibly bad tooth. They were patient and very understanding. Took the time and effort to make sure everything was okay with her. Most elderly people don't have the luxury of having dental insurance and Restore Dental was very kind to keep that in mind with my Mom.
In saying that I then become a patient. My experience was very easy and painless. Received wonderful care and had a good time at the same time.
