Services
The Institute for Acupuncture and Wellness moves to NORSPRING Cryotherapy & Rejuvenation Center. NORSPRING Cryotherapy & Rejuvenation Center was founded in 2017 in Chattanooga, TN by a group of health and business professionals with one common goal, offering new methods for approaching overall health and wellness, that would appeal to a wide range of people.
Many first-time patients are concerned that acupuncture needles will feel like hypodermic injections at the doctor's office, but they won't. The acupuncture intake process will involve questions about your current state of health, past illnesses, and family history. You will then meet with the doctor for an initial consultation.
Many first-time patients are concerned that acupuncture needles will feel like hypodermic injections at the doctor's office. They won't. Acupuncture uses hair-thin, flexible needles that you will hardly feel when I insert them. When I gently stimulate the needles they may produce a unique sensation that Oriental medicine calls de qi.
The acupuncture intake form asks questions about your current state of health, past illnesses, and family history. These questions are important because the holistic approach of Oriental medicine takes everything into account. Your current symptoms may not seem related to past health issues, but our bodies are complex landscapes and everything that happens to them leaves its mark.
If you then move forward with treatment, your first treatment is $150 and all subsequent treatments are $90 for acupuncture only. Cupping can be added as an additional service as well as electrical stimulation for the needles. As far as insurance coverage for acupuncture, you should check with your carrier to see if they will reimburse you for your acupuncture treatments.

You just need one visit to see how good and professional Bret is and one day to realize how helpful Acupunture is.
I hadn't done it before, maybe just once but I was injured so I decided to try it. After my first visit, I was really impressed with Bret. Good people, a lot of experience, excellent service... Really, if you feel bad and wonder if Acupunture could work for you, just talk to him. Thanks for everything, Bret!

Sometimes it seems Bret is a miracle worker! My latest treatments were for a variety of issues but primarily a painful arthritic shoulder. That shoulder hardly hurts now, and I have my mobility back. Plus some of the other problems have either cleared up or diminished greatly. I also had several very helpful courses of treatment seven years ago during chemo and cancer treatment recovery. I unhesitatingly recommend Bret. He is knowledgable and consistently excellent.

Never used acupuncture before, but following IDD Therapy for C-spine as alternative to surgery, the trapezious muscles, as well as neck and Rhomboid muscles knotted, like rubber bands. Three treatments with Dr. Moldenhauer, no more muscle spasm, no more pain! Doctor is very knowledgeable, attentive, and engaged with his patients. Highly recommend.

I had headaches every single morning after breakfast for about 2 or 3 years (not diabetic & no cause ever found). I went to Brett and they immediately went away and STAYED AWAY FOR YEARS! Then, after my recent pregnancy they returned (for about a year+ straight now, every morning after breakfast). So I'll definitely be going back for him to work his magic again!
