The people are so nice. I felt so welcomed there which really helps me to feel comfortable being there in the first place!

They told us that Dr Choi, whom we loved, was leaving and introduced us to the relief ortho, Dr Lenk, who is a perfectly competent orthodontist. My issue isn't with her at all.
Management definitely made it seem like she was going to be a new, full time orthodontist. She's not. And when she's not in the office, they don't really bother to staff the practice. So they have reception handling technical questions. If they even answer at all. Nearly every time I call, I get an outgoing message that they're closed.

My daughter goes here and it's basically became a joke among my family as to when the phone will ring for them to reschedule again ! Its very frustrating especially when the appointment to remove chains was rescheduled so far that we had to go to a surgeon to have them removed . Not impressed! But your payments are drafted on time thats for sure . I'll remove this review once you guys hold up your end and do the 4-6 week adjustments like your supposed to . This is why we choose a reputable company. So things like this dont happen . I get things come up but it's literally every appointment!

Not very impressed. They advertise emergency appointments and when someone has an emergency you can’t even get a regular appointment. There is a long story behind this I don’t feel like typing.
Update… No I don’t need to contact anyone but you do have some kind of problem there maybe you can address! Seems as if maybe you got too big too quick and apparently can’t handle it. Maybe it’s staffing? Due to COVID? I don’t know but I didn’t have a problem. Trying to get my son care because we kept getting the run around. He was up for two nights in pain and we kept getting put on hold

Dr. Choi and rest of the staff are outstanding. The reception staff greets you by name and is helpful and efficient with processing insurance information and scheduling appointments. Dr. Choi is very personable and understanding of your situation and your wants/needs. She doesn't try to sell you on a product, she listens to what you want the outcome to be and then details how she can make it happen. Also a special shoutout to Matthew who is fantastic at communicating throughout the entire process of your visit.

My son and I both had a fantastic experience at Real Life Smiles Blacksburg. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. My son (12) was taken care of quite well and even said, “That was the best dental experience ever!” They made sure he was completely comfortable and at ease during the entire process. They took their time, answered all our questions thoroughly and we never felt rushed or “like a number”. We will be going back often for adjustments and I look forward to more pleasant experiences!

Called this office up after recommendations from other Hokie parents and got my son in today. The staff was wonderful to my son - especially since I am not there helping him navigate the insurance paperwork etc and from my kiddos own mouth - 'this is the most professional dr's office I've ever been in"! Tori hasn't minded the one million questions that my son and I have asked and has taken the time to get all of the answers we needed in order to proceed. I highly recommend and know that my Hokie is looking forward to getting his teeth / retainer straightened out.

Modern office and convenient location. The staff took extra time to explain the procedures and were happy to answer any questions we had! Would highly recommend!!!!

I have to say my daughter is so happy about this place! She is 13 and loves coming to see these people. This is such a great staff and deserves more recognition! Nothing but the best work from these people! They are changing my daughters life in away I never thought of, and the results keep showing up everyday! (Father of such a beautiful daughter!). These ladies are amazing!! Always a pleasure to come here. I would recommend Dr Choi and staff to all who are in need of orthodontic treatment. I am very impressed by how professional and courteous they remain throughout each and every visit. Very inclusive and nonjudgemental as they advertise. Super friendly. Clean atmosphere. Super accommodating. Quick return calls when a complication arises. Convenient location. Just a lovely group of people. We visited this morning for my 13 year old son's first consultation. They do all but lay out a red carpet for you upon arrival. They were expecting us and called us by name when we entered. Every employee greeted us with a smile and personal introduction and hand shake. A lot of attention to detail went into decorating the office space to give it a cozy feel. We were offered tea, coffee, and bottled water and given a tour of the office.
