Our historic home has wonderful character, but it desperately needed paint! In fact it needed more than paint, it needed the assistance of someone with a great eye for color and style to pull together 200 years of additions and varied materials. Like so many old farmhouses in southern Pennsylvania, our home started as a small log structure.
Around 1830 a stone wing was built, with a second stone wing to follow in the 1860's. Then there was a 1960's garage and lastly, a Colonial-style log and frame addition was built. With stone, vinyl, wood siding, log, and several different colors of paint, it looked like an unrelated collection of little buildings all stuck together.

Gary and his wife painted our aluminum siding, shutters, soffit gutters and downspouts in a timely fashion and did a wonderful job. Looks like a new house. Both of them very very nice and skilled. Gary provided me with a few painting tips which will be put to good use. I think it was a good value job as well.

Gary & Trena painted exterior items for our home such as columns, garage door frames, shutters, spoutings, window transoms, & back door with window frame trim. They matched all the original colors that were used during construction. Great Choice...We are well pleased with the results and will call upon them in the future. They are very professional painters, courteous, on time as promised, neat, and clean up great upon completion of the project. Secondly, they are very reasonably priced & were well recommended!

After Gary did not come for 1st estimate appt he called and asked to reschedule. When he’s supposed to be here again he calls and said he stopped by yesterday and measured my deck and wanted my email address. Meaning that he was here, sneaked around the back, measured and looked at everything and couldn’t knock on my door??
So we talk, I’m trying to explain what area I want and don’t want stained but it felt like we were talking about two different areas. I tried to say that it would have been easier if we did this in person so that we were clear on the areas. Unhappy with my response
