I somehow managed to lock my key inside my car on Christmas Eve-- not a good time to try to reach people/businesses. Doran took great care of me, sending out a truck in no time, keeping in touch on dispatch timing, etc. My troubles cascaded after that with a mechanical issue unrelated to the lockout. I had to leave town, but Doran came out, brought my Volvo back to their facility, and worked on my issues right away despite having a long wait for the next appointment time since I am an out-of-towner. I am especially grateful to Mike, who worked with me to ultimately get our car towed back to Boulder

My son had a wreck on black ice, east side of Rabbit Ears, the operator who cleaned up the mess from the wreck, did an excellent job, especially for it being nighttime. In fact there was some cash that we found in the console that was likely scattered in the wreck. Yes tow bills cost, but this type of honesty and integrity is not found everyday. Thank you Doran.
They also worked on this car about two months ago, and that treatment was fair and reasonable. Thank you Doran.

Doran’s is the place to go when you want someone working on your car in a timely and efficient manner. I brought my car in and they communicated that day when they could get the part in and then ended up getting it in early and finishing it earlier than expected! Terry at Doran’s is the best! He communicates with you right when he has information. Friendly, fast, and great auto shop! I would recommend them to anyone!

We had car issues on July 9th (late afternoon/evening on Friday ) - (yes, a bit late with this review) while heading for a wedding that weekend. As a single mom traveling with my 10 yr old son and having major car issues 20 hours from home, I couldn’t be more thankful for the care and concern given to me and services provided!! I broke down on my way through Steamboat. I called Doran for a tow around 3:30pm, and they had me back on the road with a new alternator by 5. They didn’t charge me an arm and a leg despite my immediate need, and even let my dog hang out in the air conditioned office while the work was being done. Top notch, highly recommend.

This morning, I noticed I had a slow leak in my tire, and Doran was thankfully open. Two of the lug nuts had been stripped and they couldn’t be removed to repair the tire. He was extremely apologetic, suggesting I take it back to where they were put in, so he wouldn’t have to charge me for the fix. He filled up my tire, told me to stick to town only driving and refused the cash I offered to him as a way of saying thanks. This is exactly what Steamboat service is all about-kind people who want to make things right and offer to help out. Thank you very much!
