I have now done 3 projects with MEL/ARCH and Jason Beane. Easily one of my favorite people to work with through the development process of our restaurants. My project is not ready so I have not had the opportunity to work with Mel/Arch, but I plan to. They have a great attitude, even with a prospect who is unsure about many of the project details, which they have helped with immensely. Great communication, great creative and design ideas, honest, and prompt. What else could you want in an architectural firm?

I hired Mel/Arch to work on a complete residential build because of his apparent interest in using non-standard materials. His first design concept was so off base that I was surprised that it was the result of the long hours I spent with him explaining the requirements of the project. I gave him another chance and his second design concept was even worse. When I specified the problems with his designs and expressed my concerns about how the project was going, he told me that I would need to record the requirements in the meetings with him and then give them to him.
