Beginning in 1902 as Wartnaby and Randall Furniture, Floor Coverings and Funerals, Retz Funeral Home has always been here to serve your family at a time when you need caring, compassionate service the most. Wartnaby Funeral Home became Grarup Funeral Homes and then Retz Funeral Home. We built on the established tradition of caring for and serving our neighbors and friends and strive to improve this every day.
In 2014 we added the Reid's Funeral Chapels to our offerings and have worked to carry on the Reid's tradition of, 'Compassionate services within the means of all.' Whether you choose traditional or personalized services you may rest assured that over 115 years of experience will guide our actions.

Services
Locations in Sheffield, Greene, Thornton and Marble Rock, Iowa. We work closely with churches, cemeteries and community groups in all of these communities to assist you with remembering your loved one in the manner that is right for you. Spacious chapels will accomodate visitations, services and other events for your family surrounding a time of transition.
Our area has several quality florists. These florists will guide you and deliver the flowers fresh and at the right time for the family you wish to have them. Any of these florists will do a very good job for you. When some of the national or internet based florists are used the flowers are often shipped unprepared for the family, arrive at the wrong time or have been frozen during delivery in unheated trucks.
