Services
We consider active addiction to be a terminal disease. Not only is it life threatening, but it works to terminate everything good in your life too. Brighton Recovery Center's goal is to individualize treatment to tailor your treatment experience to your needs. Our treatment program is heavily focused on reintegration into all aspects of your life, as it should be- healthy and sober.
Patients with Brighton Recovery move through a series of treatment levels that provide the best possible chances for their long-term recovery. The level a patient begins at will be determined during an initial assessment with their intake coordinator. The full spectrum of treatment within Brighton's care progresses from Detox and continues through residential, day treatment, intensive outpatient, outpatient, sober living, and the alumni program.
While there are many substances you may find yourself addicted to, one common thread runs through all addiction - loss of power. Whether it's drugs, alcohol, pornography or another substance or compulsion, users seek help when they realize they have surrendered their power to their addiction. That's the time to call our addiction recovery center in Sandy or South Ogden.
Oftentimes the road to alcohol addiction is long. Drinking alcohol might start out as an occasional social activity and pick up in frequency over time. Becoming addicted to alcohol is insidious that way. Eventually, you may find yourself alone, scared and hopeless. Don't despair. Rehab for alcoholics at Brighton Recovery Center is just a phone call away.
At our drug treatment center in Sandy, we offer patients help, compassion and hope. Admitting you need help and asking for it are important steps, and we admire those brave enough to take them. The path of an addict can be long and dark, but those with substance use disorders who seek help and dedicate themselves to their recovery have given themselves a second chance at life.

My experience at Brighton was unbelievable. I have been to 2 other different recovery centers, and I have to say Brighton is THE BEST. They work their program intensively. They never fail to disappoint! Their after programs are amazing. Really open and genuine people to work with. They will help anyone seeking recovery and will provide excellent service! I would HIGHLY recommend Brighton for anyone who struggles with alcohol and drug abuse. They won’t turn anyone down that needs the mental health aside from alcohol and drug abuse! I have been working with Brighton for nearly 2 years now. They

I came to Brighton an unhappy mess. Angry, alone, and headed in a direction that would drastically shorten my life. While there, I received the support and education that I needed from my counselor and the rest of the staff to understand my disease and to learn that I was not alone. To learn that making connections were vital to fighting addiction. Connections with other people also struggling with the same thing who could listen and understand what I’m going through and to provide the accountability I now know I needed to keep me slowly, steadily, on track to a fuller and more happy life. Brighton saved my life. I graduated from Brighton September 2019 and my whole life has changed. I was given the tools to succeed and a brand new life alcohol free. After leaving Brighton Clay from the Alumni group checked in with me and continued to do so. I was able to witness first hand what the Alumni group does. Volleyball, movies, dinner, meetings- this is only naming a few. It is so nice to have a Sober family and I am truly blessed to be a part of this amazing Brighton family.

Brighton Recovery has been a life changer for me. The in residence facility provided me with much needed support through insightful clinicians, informative psychobehavorial lessons, reflective recreational therapy activities , supportive staff, and access to much needed peer support groups.
The follow up IOP program provided support as well, by helping me to acclimate back to daily living. Check ins and lessons allowed space for me to grow into a new walk in life.
Following the recovery program of in residence treatment and IOP, I have been additionally supported by the Brighton Alumni Program

When I first got to Brighton Recovery Center, I did not want to be in treatment at all, I was already homesick and I felt like I’d been taken to jail. That all changed very quickly as the entire staff and most of the patients at the house were very warm, welcoming and encouraging. Most of the groups were helpful to my individual recovery, and I am able to take the tools I’ve acquired from them out into the world. The clinical staff is excellent. My therapist, Kevin White is absolutely phenomenal at his job, and he really went above and beyond in my time of need. The food was very good for the

My experience with Brighton has been a journey I will cherish the rest of my life. I came to Brighton believing I was broken. Although in reality, after being able to reevaluate myself in such a loving and hospitable environment, I was able to open up and be vulnerable with myself the excellent staff and other patients as well. Through the process of intense therapy and self reflection I was able to take my maladaptive behaviors from my past life traumas and transform them into strengths not only to help myself but the community around me!
Thank you Brighton!

Going to Brighton was such a great experience!! Everybody working there seems to genuinely care about the patient’s well-being and recovery. The 2-3x weekly therapy, daily group sessions, yoga, outside AA/NA meetings, and recreation therapy all really strongly helped my recovery. The staff treat you as friends that are there to help, which really helped me feel comfortable. The campus was always clean and kept up well, food was delicious, and I appreciated having private rooms. If you’re considering coming here I highly recommend it!
