Bob has been in the construction industry most of his life. He started working for an HVAC company during the summers while in high school. Along the way he went to college, worked in high rise construction, got a refrigeration license while working at a Westchester County ice rink and even drove a Zamboni.
After commuting to NYC as Union steamfitter and starting a family Bob and his wife Connie felt it was time to find work closer to home. Bob found a home at Flynn Brothers Heating and Cooling and has been here since 1988. In May of 1998 Bob was given the opportunity to purchase the company from its founder Bill Flynn and the company's name changed to Flynn Aire.

They sent a rookie for my first repair call. He could not fix the unit. He ordered parts and then someone else came to install. Second person determined the wrong parts were ordered. He ordered other parts. When he returned to install the next set of parts, this did not solve the issue. They told me unit was no good and needed to trash. I am asking for some level of discount for installing new unit, cover some of the past mistakes. Getting the run around.

Initial call - said we're very busy, I'll get back to you...and after 5-days someone arrived unannounced at our home. He walked from his truck to our outside A/C for an estimate - took a pic - came back with a $99 write-up. After a friendly discussion, he again came back, after a call from his truck, and said there'd be no charge. Today I received an invoice for $99.

On June 28th during a heat wave in New York our whole house air conditioner failed. We have had a contract with Flynn-Air for 20 years. Our last preventative maintenance was done in early June 2021. We called regarding the failure and never received a response. With the prediction of over 90 degree temperatures we called Around the Clock Refrigeration and Heating. They were at the house within hours. They diagnosed the issue and made the repair. They were responsive, professional, friendly and the repair was done quickly at a reasonable price. Flynn-Air was either overwhelmed or just are not responsive

On 8/11/10 the technician wrote” 3 yr old Lennox, poor cooling unit, not matching charge chart, unit piping soft solder, check warranty “. Apply to your situation what happened to me.

Flynn-Aire helped us with the installation for AC and heat pump back in July. They were on time and professional. Some tiny issue with billing - we received another bill months after the installation but they later on found out that it's error on their end.
Lately we just started using heat pump for the first time and the heat was not running, we have a new born baby at home and I have to hold her at night because there is no heat in the house. We waited until Monday to call them and today is Friday, still no answer. We got a call from Bob for thermostat options since the existing one

They did a great job installing my split unit. They also found a large sum of cash in my attic while doing install and they were honest enough to return it to me rather than keep it! They are obviously trustable and competent. I would highly recommend this company!!!

The salesman Bob was great, they got here fast for initial quote. Install team followed up with the exact same work ethic and personality as salesman. They were clean, informative, on time, and explained everything perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for a more seamless process! Also worthy to note that this company was a good 15-20% cheaper than all other companies that quoted me. I received a full central air system with vents/blower/central air unit.

Wow...first of all it wasn't the furnace system that was the issue, it was the pipes that you installed, which I tried to explained to Matt several times. The first issue we had was the connection that wasn't tightened properly and the second issue was the sealant you used on the pipes that didn't hold up
I don't try to extort money from anyone, you on the other took money from a customer and didn't do the job correctly. I never threatened Matt to give me $1,000 I asked for SOME of the bill to be paid NOT the whole bill. And for your information, the bill didn&apos

We have been customers for over 10 years. They always give us prompt service. They installed our air conditioner, boiler, and new furnace. Whenever we have had an issue, they have been quick to respond. Prior to installing a new furnace, a pipe froze and burst in our basement. We called after hours on a frigid Friday night and someone came immediately to get us up and running. Owner, Bob Hansen is the best!

Years ago Flynn air installed central air in our home and since they had been so great responding to any calls we had - we hired them this year to install a new heating system. Bob Hansen and his workers did a great job again -very professional - completed all work on time and on budget - no surprises.

I had a service contract with Flynnaire for approximately 7 years and never had to use it until recently when my furnace would not turn on. I called Flynnaire and after 2 days in the cold it was repaired.
Part of the service contract is a 10% discount on parts used. Unfortunately they lied about the brand and charged me $350 for a $143 par. When I questioned Donna about it she said she will "see me in court if I don't pay"

These guys are crooks. Owner , Bob Hansen does not return calls. They were hired to put in centaral air. Never completed job to satisfaction. U3 years later still not working properly. Never returned to correct situation.
Your better off with an oscillating fan in 120 degrees then letting these guys work on your house. Run away form them!!!!! They have no clue on what Air conditioning does .
