Since 1953 folks have driven from miles around to taste our famous sumburger(R). This meal-on-a-bun starts with 2 fresh all beef patties, served up on a hot bun topped off with 2 slices of melted cheese, lettuce and our own sumburger(R) sauce. Whether you come a mile or 100 miles, you'll agree the sumburger(R) is worth it.

My partner and I are frequent regulars, I grew up with the original sumburger on bridge st, I so miss that place, the new one is retro modern. It's nice, clean, easy service, staff is friendly, the food is still 👌. It's just not the same one I grew up with so it's very strange and different for me but I am getting use to the new place. My partner and I have a special both, It's our both we always sit at when we go there. I really love sumburger and consider this as the ultimate retro burger joint and a staple icon of chillicothe. You know I really use to love this restaurant but today this drive thru thingy makes me mad. 1st we ordered blah blah 20 mins then we get the food and and we have to wait another 10 mins because the forgot the drinks after that I’m starving I come to see my burger is cold not a fan and I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again (this was the drive thru)

I was very pleased with my meal here. This isn't your typical chain restaurant food. I had the Double Sumburger plater which was really good. You can tell they cook each order fresh as they receive, which is a pleasant change to other fast food restaurants. The only downside was there was no ice cream available at our stop, but I'm sure that will eventually change. Glad we stopped and will again when returning to the area.

Although Sumburger is known, of course, for its namesake Sumburger, try their chili dogs. Not too spicy, not too sweet, the chili sauce is just right! The hotdog itself has a nice snap to it and tastes great on its own.

Came back to drop 2 stars review as my child asked for a refill on a kid's cup of slushy. She's 4 and wanted to ask by herself. The boy behind the counter told her she had to pay more for a refill of slushy. A 4 year old has no concept of money and just wanted a literal cup of slushy!! This is after we just dropped nearly $40 on food, btw! Thanks for being rude to my kid! There's free refills on everything else, though?? That's what you told us when we ordered! 😡 So - 2 stars for customer service and maybe you need more training on how to speak to your child customers.

What a sad sad try at the original. IF someone is there to take your order it still takes forever to get your food. The process is you a buzzer and wait to walk back up to a window. I went back twice.
Price. yikes!!! Over $13 bucks for me to get a Sumburger Platter and a large Coke!!!

Came here with my daughter's soccer team one Saturday. The restaurant knew we were coming and prepared a section of the restaurant for us. However, only one person taking orders. Half of the team was done eating before the other half of the team even got to place their order. Very poor management. Food was not bad. Burger was disappointing and fries were tasty. It should not have cost me $30 for myself and my teenage daughter to eat lunch. Way over-priced.

Our family of four ate here. My son ordered a double Sumbuger Platter without lettuce. They put shredded lettuce in it which would be impossible to take off. Also it was saturated with their "Sumburger Sauce.". The whole nostalgia of Sumburger is lost at this location. When you come in, you walk up the counter to order then given a buzzer for when your food is done. At the original location, you order at your call or your table on the phone and they bring it out.
They offer a side salad and chef salad but other than that the majority of the food is fried.

This restaurant has a very clean and great atmosphere. The food is great. The only reasons I have it 4 stars is its set up like fast food. For the price your paying and your not getting served. Also if I have to get my own drink refills I have to ask someone behind the counter to get it for me. Why can't there be a pop machine where I can walk up to and get my own drink. One other thing is there's no napkins on the table. They give you one with a double Sumburger platter. Lol

The same menu, prices, and great food as the original Sumburger; now with a modern twist with this new second location. No more cramped booths and no more sitting at multiple separate booths because you have a party of more than 4 people! There are both booths and tables that can be put together in this spacious restaurant.
You order when you walk in at the front counter and then they give you a buzzer that will go off when your food is ready; which you will pick up at the pick up window to the left of where you order. The Sumburger is still the same great burger that you're used to eating
