The contractor (Tye H. Edelman) holding the license (#546522) doesn't usually do the actual work, he has other painters who work for him and do the painting. That being said, his guy worked tirelessly while he was here painting the outside of our house and went the extra mile. We got estimates from 5 painters and Tye's was one of the most competitive bids. He used quality paints from Dunn Edwards. The finished job met our expectations. To avoid problems and misunderstandings, make sure you communicate exactly what you want/expect, be sure it is in the contract, and go over it with Tye

I've never worked with a less professional company. From the proposal process to the half completed job, this was an awful experience.
I contracted Ty Edelman to stain my wood decks. He was continuously pushing the date out to complete the job. I continually had to text him to receive updates on the status of the work to be completed - he never initiated communication.
To my dismay, I was unable to be present to watch his workers complete the staining.
When I returned to my home after the work was completed, it appeared that the job wasn't completed -- the decks appeared
