Regular dental visits are essential to make sure oral health problems - from tooth decay to oral cancer - are detected and treated in a timely manner. At our office, your oral health is our paramount concern. We want to make sure your teeth stay healthy, function well and look great! From regular cleanings and exams to advanced restorative treatments, all of your routine dental needs can be met right here.
All the staff at Yanik Dental are highly skilled, expertly trained, and well experienced to help you with any concerns and ensure a "Friendly & Caring" dental visit. Born and raised in Connecticut, Dr. Yanik always aspired to a career in the health field. He completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech and Iowa State University earning a BS degree before graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1984.
For your convenience, below is information about our hours, location, appointments, insurance and payment options. We have made requesting an appointment easy for you via our Web site or by calling 860-623-1116. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible, preferably 24-48 hours in advance.
As a courtesy to you, our office will submit your dental claims to most insurance companies. We work with you to maximize your benefits; however, you remain responsible for any unpaid services. Our office accepts most dental insurance and we participate with many plans including Cigna, Guardian, Principal, Delta Dental, Anthem Blue Cross.

I've been going to Dr. Yanik for a year his staff is awesome. They are courteous and polite.
You feel good when entering the office
I just love them.
Kelly the hygienist is so friendly she makes you feel comfortable when she's checking and cleaning your teeth.

It is my pleasure to write a review for Dr. Yanik. Not only is he outstanding, his staff is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When you come in you are always greeted with a smile and you are never kept waiting long. Billing and appointment making is very efficient and I really like the fact that I get an automatic email or text reminder for an upcoming appointment. I continue to request Kathy as my dental hygienist. She is extremely thorough, gentle and very personable. Dr. Yanik's office is also very family friendly. Our kids actually look forward to going to their appointments

I was a a patient of Dr. Yanik's in the early 1990's before moving out of the CT area. When I moved back to CT 2009 I called Dr. Yanik with an aching tooth on a Sunday morning at 5am after living away from Connecticut for 17 years. I was in agony. My voice mail message must have gone to his home because he called me back and he remembered me. He saw me in his office on a Sunday as an emergency as if I had been a patient of his for all of those 17 years. He even had the old manila file from the old days on me, he had retrieved it.
