Do you find yourself waking up with nagging or excruciating pain in your back? Your condition may be sciatica. While back pain and sciatica are similar, they still have their differences and are often confused with one another. Back pain is found specifically in the upper, middle, or lower back. Sciatica radiates pain down the buttock, thigh, and even into the legs.
Baseball players, especially pitchers, commonly develop elbow pain as a result of the throwing motion they use repeatedly. Stress at the elbow can result in pulling and stretching of tendons and ligaments located in the inner part of the elbow. Medical Epincondyle Apophysitis is the clinical name of the condition we're talking about that's often referred to as baseball elbow.
Carpal Tunnel is a condition you may have heard thrown around in conversation, maybe from someone who uses their hands and wrists a lot for their jobs. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome impacts approximately 5% of all Americans, according to the American Physical Therapy Association. The main job of the carpal tunnel is to protect the median nerve on the inside of your wrist, in addition to the tendons you use to bend the fingers.

I have been in physical therapy since 2016 with very little improvements until this year. In January 2021, I started at Healy Physical Therapy; I had read that they specialize in treatment for patients with Ehlers- Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and decided I would try this before I completely gave up on hopes of improving my quality of life. So very glad I walked through that door. Mike as well as the rest of the staff is phenomenal, geared towards each patients specific needs vs. most places that give you the same exercises as the place you went before with no results. They have a hands on approach, correct

I just want to mention and thank specifically Jeremy, Ryan and Steven who are very patient with both my children they worked with my kids and helped them feel comfortable and at ease with exercises. The staff at the office are very well informed about joint hypermobility and really listened to my concerns and what my children needed and as a parent that’s all you can ask for someone who actually understands. We’ve been to a few places and nobody can compare to this office, we love them! I would recommend this office to anyone who needs PT in a heartbeat.

I have to give an honest review here, I’ve personally been to multiple physical therapy practices for post recovery on my shoulder surgeries, and I have to say, Healy physical therapy has been nothing less then family towards me, and always treats me with full respect and 100% full attention to my needs at all times. Everyone there has a great personality and always aims to reach your highest expectations, please do not believe the hype with any negative reviews, go there for yourself and find out the top care you will receive, you are guaranteed to come out feeling better then when you first

I’ve been a patient at Healy Physical Therapy in East Providence for a while now and I can’t say enough good things about the care I get from Mike Healy and his amazing staff. Mikes treatment and care has made such a positive impact on my life. I have Classical Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Crohns Disease, both of which cause severe body pain and deterioration. Thanks to Mikes treatment plan along with his very knowledgeable and friendly staff I am now walking without any type of assistance from braces, my pain is better controlled, I am physically and mentally stronger than ever and I’m back
