Kate lives in Bartlett, a town she adores! She moved to North Conway in 2002 from her home state of PA. She graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Animal Bioscience in 2001 and then trained service dogs for a year before the call of the mountains drew her north. Kate then returned to school to graduate with her DVM from Tufts University's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
She returned to work in North Conway in 2007 and then worked at Fryeburg Veterinary Hospital from 2008-2015. Kate is honored to be a part of the lives of her patients and clients and is even more honored to work with an amazing staff to make it all happen. Kate has 2 daughters, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a Russian tortoise.

We were visiting from out of town when my dog needed to see a vet. Dr. Kate and her team were some of the best vets we’ve ever experienced! They were able to fit us in that morning, run labs and X-rays and give us a diagnosis all within an hour. I wish we lived closer so we could make her our primary vet!

We were away form home staying down the street in a rental when our dog got very sick. Although it was not ideal for your schedule and typical way of doing things, your team accommodated us last minute and got him what he needed and he turned right around. Your entire team was empathetic, helpful, friendly and we appreciated that very much. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Dr. Kate is an amazing vet. Always there when we needed her, always helped us even after hours when we had an emergency situation. You can truly see when a doctor is doing a job for money versus a doctor who is committed to helping animals in need. And we appreciate her for the extra care our pets have always received from her and her staff. Thank you, Dr. Kate!

Kate is an incredible veterinarian. We live in Bridgton, ME, and followed her when she opened TNVH - if she moved to Wisconsin we'd probably move there, too! She understands that different breeds have different needs, but also that individual animals are unique. We have a Boston Terrier that the staff loving calls "Sharky" because he gets chompy… when he's getting his nails trimmed, or shots, or anything else really. They never get angry, try to muzzle him, or tell me to go somewhere else (all things that have happened at other vet offices). They stay calm and happy, giving him love the

Brought our 4 year lab there with unspecified issues from another veterinary place. Other place mentioned toes being amputated due to issues with spots between toes. Kate did biopsy with no concerns stating that was normal and with antibiotics would be ok needing maybe antibiotics with biopsy results. Amazing person Kate is ❤️💙

This is the best animal hospital for all your pets needs. If you are looking for a fantastic country doc with knowledge, empathy and a great bedside manner, look no further. Dr Kate is certainly one of the best in her field and can run labs and diagnostics in-house in record time. The ability to shop online is very convenient and the staff is friendly and helpful.
