The oldest of two children in a Kodak family, I grew up with a camera in my hand. We lived all over the East coast and a brief stint in the UK. The last big move was back to Rochester, where I started my professional career as a camera service engineer after earning a degree in photography and sculpture.
I was fortunate to have traveled to Europe and Asia during that time. The experience of working with clients all over the world brought me a unique understanding of customer service and importance of family. My work is a combination of storytelling and portraiture using a lifestyle approach. Over the last 10 plus years I have been using this style to capture portraits and weddings on location and in the studio.

Val was exactly what I was looking for in a professional photographer. She and I planned a surprise proposal/engagement shoot for my new fiancé. She not only captured the photos I expected perfectly, but also captured many unexpected/non-posed photos that turned out to be some of our new favorites. Some of best photos we got were unexpected candids that truly captured the mood and excitement of the day.
