Come on in and play free shuffleboard (with purchase), pool, and other games including the California Lottery. Summer has been has been blazing hot this year, in addition to all the devastating fires around our state. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to all those affected and the first responders.
During this time of the year, action slows down a bit while we all just do our best to stay cool, healthy, and enjoy some vacation time. Keep an eye out here as activities will pick up in September and see what The Pit Stop has in store for your entertainment. In the meantime, stop by The Pit for your favorite cool and refreshing beverage.

A looooong bar with excellent bartenders. Everything you heart desires; margaritas, whiskey sour, or a spicey clamato on draft. Frosted mugs, down home friendly welcoming atmosphere. What more could you ask for, besides fresh piping hot pizza! They absolutly have the best vegetarian pizza I have ever eaten; artichoke heaven. Go in sit down in bar, or resteraunt and enjoy the same great food and service. A hidden gem in Coalinga, CA.

In the pandemic of 2020 the staff doesn’t wear masks even though there are signs outside of their building for everyone to do so. I use to live in Coalinga and this was my spot. I visit do to family there, but with no cares about the health of customers and themselves. I cannot say this is a hygienic place for anyone to stop by. Avoid like the pandemic, staff and owners don’t care about you or there own safety. All I can say is do better Fatte Albert’s.
Further update, the staff is still not wearing mask. Very unsanitary, I only saw 1 or 2 out of the 4 that were working there wearing one

Took advantage for ordering online. I ordered their 1 topping special, which is a large pepperoni pizza. I also ordered 4 ranch and 4 marinara. Our pizza was early which was a plus but no one was home to answer the door, explaining why I set the time. After looking I was given 2 cheese pizzas and 2 marinara and the rest ranch. There isnt usually an issue, but I spent $40 on two 1 topping pizzas. Which is very unsatisfying as cheese isn't a topping. Online selection needs to be clearer either that someone royally messed up. Supposedly the system defaults the usual special a cheese pizza. According

The Pit Stop sits on the main crossroad in Coalinga. It has pool tables and ample seating. One of the best things about the Pit Stop is the folks who run it: barbara Morris and Randy Matz (the most visibly involved people when I have been there). They also offer events and activities outside the scope of a typical bar.
Their most recent event was a "Sip and Shop" evening. Local businesses and crafts people were invited to set up booths or tables inside the bar for a mini-mall type event. There was also a chef, Julie Eade, who provided a no-cost pasta-bar where she cooked pasta to order. it was

Haven't eaten here in a while. This last time we were in town we ordered our pizzas to go. Let's just say we ate an entire box before leaving town. Pizza is still as good as I remember. Always fresh and staff is polite clean dinning area. I always reccomend this place to friends who visit coalinga or passing through.
