Action Property Management was founded in 1998. We specialize in long-term commercial and residential property management, including offices, single-family homes, duplexes, condos, townhomes, and apartments. Our service area includes Sequim and Port Angeles and all surrounding communities. Our philosophy in life and in business is simple: Treat everyone just the way you would like to be treated; with honesty, fairness, and respect.

We recognize there is both an art and science to being successful in this industry and we strive to continually fine-tune both to be the top real estate management firm in the Sequim - Port Angeles area of the Olympic Peninsula. We have a deep understanding and appreciation of our fiduciary responsibilities to our clients and are committed to looking out for our clients' best interests ahead of our own.

Action Property Management has been providing quality, professional, and knowledgeable rental management services in the Sequim - Port Angeles area of the Olympic Peninsula for over 20 years. We specialize in commercial and residential property management, including offices, single family homes, apartments, duplexes, condos, and townhomes.
Property management is a transactional business, governed by contracts, laws, and codes of conduct. Upholding contracts and lease agreements is one of Action's primary responsibilities. But while contracts and rules are important, personal relationships are the most important factor that leads to success in property management.
We believe we should earn your business! If for any reason you wish to discontinue your service with us, you can cancel your agreement at any time with no penalties. Our management agreement is month-to-month. If we are unable to lease your rent-ready home at the rental price we recommend within 30 days or less we will give you ONE month of management free!
The yard needs to be neat and tidy. Grass should be mowed and edged, weeds pulled, hedges, shrubs, and trees trimmed up. All vegetation should be cut back at least 6 inches away from the house siding and 2 feet from the roof. Driveways and walkways should be clean and weed-free. Remove any trash or personal items.
Thoroughly wipe down walls as needed, including light switches, electric outlets, and wall plates. Thoroughly clean bathrooms including exhaust fan covers, tub/shower enclosure, glass doors and tracks. Hire a professional to clean all carpets (do not use a grocery store rental as these do not clean nearly as well as professional equipment will).

This is my first time using Action Property Management. I talked to Jesse about potentially moving into this house we seen online. Absolutely beautiful home and exactly what me and my girlfriend was looking for. We emailed Jesse and got a response very quick. I told him my timeline and how fast I wanted to move into the house, he got everything done on time and let me know about the whole process before anything happened.
We've only lived in this house for a little over a week, but I feel confident with any issues that might arise that Jesse will get it solved. We immediately had a HOA issue

Jesse is fairly quick to respond to concerns, more so than other property management companies I have dealt with in the past, or have heard from others renting in this area from other PM companies. Any issues we had were taken care of quickly. Does not bother you unless he of course he sees a concern when he drives by to check on the property. Just make sure you get your propane tank filled the week you move out and not before!

Jesse at Action Property Management was great to deal with. He responded quickly to our emails/texts and sought to resolve the issues in a timely manner. We felt that he balanced well representing the owner's interest as well as our rights as tenants.
If we ever have need of a property management service, we will definitely work with Jesse again.

We used Action Property about 7 years ago to manage our house that we were going to rent out. We lived in California at the time and trusted them to take care of our home in Sequim. It turns out that they weren't really working for the landlord but favored the renters instead. At first our rent amount Action Property decided seemed pretty low for our house and the location its in. And when the tenants were occupying the house it seemed like every month there was something broken, leaking or some other excuse to deduct the amount owed to us. No pictures were taken of the issues that needed fixing

We rented a property through Jesse at Property Management and he made it so easy for us to get into one of his properties. He knows his job well and responds to any questions or issues right away. He is very easy to deal with and such a nice guy. I would totally recommend him to use as a tenant and as an owner.

We owned a second home in Sequim for 18 years, hoping to retire there and renting it out in the meantime.
We were lucky enough to find Action Property and the Schubert family to manage it. Never having been landlords, we didn't even know what we didn't know! The Schuberts educated us.
Most valuable to us was their excellent vetting of potential renters, which saved us many heartaches as out of state owners.

We started working with Walt Schubert and Action Property Management about 7 years ago when we bought a property in Sunland--and had just a great experience with him managing our place! When his son Jesse took over, just as good an experience. Even better, when we chose to buy another property to retire to (and sold the Sunland property) Jesse was enormously helpful--since we were still in Texas--making recommendations for contractors, letting them into our new property, and worked beautifully with our real estate agent and our renters in selling the old property.
