Services
Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides body, mind and spirit-centered psychological counseling services so that individuals, couples and families can develop their full potential. Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides community education and consultation to other professionals. Pathways has been a member of the Lorain County Board of Mental Health since 2002 and works in collaboration with other community services.
Offices were first located in rented space at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria. The Center had three-year start-up funds of $30,000.00 from the Nord Foundation and the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County. In 1988, the Center moved to larger offices in rented space at First United Methodist Church, Elyria.
Pathways cannot conduct business via internet due to HIPAA laws. We are unable to provide emergency services. Ruthie Lasecki has more than 20 years of experience specializing in healthcare management, quality assurance and compliance and healthcare consultation in behavioral and ancillary healthcare services.
In her most recent role Ms. Lasecki provided services to clients nationwide with various healthcare needs ranging from organizational management, accreditation and service delivery diversification as she served as the president of a healthcare specialty firm she founded in 2002.

My son sees Ms. Laura for counseling. She has been absolutely phenomenal and I am so grateful we switched to her. She makes time for weekly appointments and has been so helpful when it comes to new parenting strategies and helping my son be the best him he can be. We are at a point where we are making breakthroughs as a family and I couldn’t be happier. We are so thankful for Ms. Laura!
