Definitely one of the most massive and frequented shopping centers in the South Charlotte, richy-richville area. They have several large stores including Target, Marshalls/Home Goods, Harris Teeter and Old Navy. You could reasonably outfit yourself and your kitchen with a visit here. I only visit when I need something specific from a store here as I can find most things here a little closer to home.
If malls are more your scene, there are lots of such stores here too. Including Banana Republic, Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret and, my absolute favorite store name, Lizard Thicket. Whoever

I love this mall. I do get the negative reviews about driving and parking. It can be difficult. People often walk out in front of you and crosswalks aren't always obvious. There's no parking lot in that sense, just a bunch of spaces. It can be hard to find a space on a busy day.
That being said it's still my favorite mall. The bath and body works here is great, and has the best employees. So much better than the small cramped Pineville mall one.
There are plenty of places to eat. The Greek place has an awesome falafel, and shake shack is king of chicken sandwiches.

A Shopaholics shopping mecca, this is the premier shopping area in all of South Charlotte's Ballantyne area. It is an expansive concept center laid out like a small city within a city. Anchors include Target, Harris Teeter, Marshalls and Homegoods. It is peppered with excellent restaurants throughout and includes a good mix of specialty shops.
Originally intended to be a walking location for surrounding neighborhoods, it obviously draws from all around. Of course this means parking is scarce during lunch and dinner hours, especially out front within the specialty shops and restaurants. There

Every other store in this shopping center would get a 4 or 5 star. The one that lowered it to 3 stars is McDonald's. I had really bad experience from them. They lied about the free coffee thing a long time ago to limit to 1 person in a group instead of each person in a group. At 6 pm or later, there are few customers and it still takes forever to receive my order. Monopoly event where I wanted 2 game pieces from a big mac, they put the big mac in a box that doesn't give game pieces. Iced coffees were not filled up to the top, they leave a whole inch of space open. Large fries were also

This shopping plaza is decent when it's not the really busy time of the year, other than the design makes it hard to see more than a few shops at a time. It's layers and layers and between those layers, it's a very narrow driving alley with not much parking.
And at lunch time on New Year's Eve Eve (12/30), the place was packed, most spaces were filled and a few people were even double-parking which made it ten times worse.
If you're shopping Blakeney, bring a trunk load of patience.

Blakeney is A-OK in my book. I don't tend to find myself on this side of town often, but when I do, there are a few go-tos that I tend to enjoy.
The Starbucks will do in a pinch for some free wifi, a quick meeting, and less than passable coffee products.
The restaurant scene isn't the best, but Brixx and Zoe's tops my list for an easy lunch.
My biggest qualm with the whole shopping center is getting back out onto Rea Rd. Specifically, turning left. Forget about it. Seriously. You'd be better off just leaving your car for dead. It's near impossible. The worst thing

I'm definitely a fan of this shopping center! It's easy to find, there's tons of parking (granted the spots are hard to find) and plenty of places to eat and shop!
I had passed this shopping center several times but it wasn't until I went to try Greco Fresh Grill (Mmmm...you MUST try) that I really saw how large this place is and how much shopping there is to do!
