Our group was born as R.AHUMADA Consultores en Comercio Internacional in 1997 under the Customs Brokers license No.1455 granted to Ricardo Ahumada Guzman in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Later, we were granted the authorization (No. 3663) to operate in different customs ports, and thereafter our offices in Monterrey and Nuevo Laredo started operations.

The growing demand lead us to expand our premises to the American- soil counterparts, opening the warehouses in Laredo and El Paso, Texas. Today, we proudly serve you in 9 different locations. AVANZA is an innovative, authorized Mexican Customs Brokerage firm, dedicated to provide tailor-made solutions for all possible needs of International Trade.
Services
We guarantee transparency and fluidity in the correct identification and classification of merchandise as well as the precise determination of duties in perfect compliance with restrictions and regulations. With integrity at our core, we assure that this process will always have you and your needs as our foremost priority.
Laredo Texas is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, in merely 30 years, it has doubled its population. One of the factors that impulse such growth is Laredo's growing importance as a manufacturing and trading center between the U.S and Mexico. Its sister city, Nuevo Laredo has tripled its population in the same period of time.

Checked in, trailer not ready, said they'd call. Called them the next morning, said our trailer was still in mx. Called few hours later, trailer still not ready. Afternoon we get a call from not them, but from our company, saying these guys said we'd never checked in... whether it was lying or an honest mistake, this is unacceptable behavior for any place in a profession beyond flipping burgers. Happy to be out of here, and thankful for detention pay.
Also be ready for surprise $30/ea loadlock charge if you don't already have a few on truck, and if you're dropping a trailer be ready to practice
