Art Press has been supplying printing for 4 generations, established by Henry, Paul and Arthur Demarest in Brooklyn, New York in 1923, then eventually expanding to New York City, New Jersey and North Carolina. We provided fund raising and printed products to organizations, large and small companies.
As the business climate changed in the 1950s, we evolved into Trade Printing, which enabled us to open wider markets, that we enjoy today. In the 50s we went from a complete hot metal letterpress, bindery and die cutting business to adding offset, both sheet fed and rotary and eventually digital machinery also, and still do regularly.
