When I was born in 1947 in Elyria, Ohio my father, William Whitney McCray was a Realtor who worked for his Grandfather ( My great Grandfather) Hugh Whitney who had retired from being the Sheriff of Lorain County Ohio, got his Realtor/Broker license and opened Whitney Real Estate in Elyria, Ohio.
