Very Professional, honest and knowledgeable about military divorces. I was going through a divorce back in 2012 and my ex-wife was dragging it out. Given my uncomplicated situation, AJ Balbo convinced my ex-wife’s attorney to reach a settlement without dragging it through the system. He could have easily filed a contested divorce to increase his fees.

In 2019 I spoke to several law offices for my divorce. Unfortunately a few were very inconsiderate, rushed, or didn’t return calls. Mr. Balbo first impression was very warm and heartfelt. He apologize to me that I was getting divorced, however sometimes its necessary. His team was very professional, respectful and knowledgeable of the law, with great response time to questions and concerns. Very disappointed. The free consultation was a nice front. After that, unanswered emails, constant issues with paperwork errors, information I should have had before mediation but did not, no real "counsel" or advice along the way. The GAL picked didn't even call the pre-school or any affidavit respondents to get the most information possible… about the other parent involved. As a father, I expected the result due to the way the system is set up, but the way my case was handled? A very expensive slap in the face and poor representation all around.
