Services
Chiropractic care is growing in popularity across the United States and right here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. More and more people are looking for natural ways of achieving overall health and treating ailments. Chiropractic care is used to treat all types of musculoskeletal disorders which can be the underlying issue for many common ailments such as back pain, headaches, and neck strains.
Most adults will suffer from some form of back issue during their lifetime. The most common is lower back pain but individuals can also develop issues with either the middle or upper portions of your spine. In fact, it is a common cause of work-related disability and one of the leading reasons individuals skip work.
Spinal decompression or decompression therapy is a newer treatment for herniated and bulging discs in the back or neck. As people age, it's natural for the shock absorbers (intervertebral discs) in our back and neck to degenerate (lose their effectiveness). Many adults will suffer from a herniated disc (rupture) or a bulging disc (protruding outward) at some point in their life.
A full-body massage might be the most relaxing thing going. In fact, the purpose of a massage is to relax the soft tissue while increasing the flow of blood & oxygen. Massage has been found to assist individuals with lower back pain, anxiety, migraines, carpal tunnel, neck & shoulder pain, and even high blood pressure.
Neck strain is often referred to as "whiplash" and although mostly associated with car accidents, any sudden impact which causes your head to jerk can cause neck strain. Neck strains or whiplash are caused by damage to our tendons & tissue which connects our muscles to bones. Whiplash symptoms from an accident may not appear immediately and can take a few days or many weeks for you to feel the effects.

I have been going to Dr Deleeuw for over 15 years and I love his work. Between him and his son Jake they both are very knowledgeable and the adjustments always seem to help me.

Went to an appointment with my mother and nobody was at the front desk. Just because we wanted to make sure we were in the right spot for the appointment one of the doctors were very rude. Definitely not a place worth going to if you can find somewhere else to go.
